ZXRagna Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Ok so i use a wireless xbox 360 controller with my computer to play MUGEN on. i noticed a problem, my pc is not reading my controller when both the Left trigger and Right trigger buttons are pressed at the same time, i have both buttons set as z and c for mugen and they work individually, but when pressed at the same time, nothing happens. this is really problematic for me when using CvS characters because the custom comboing in A groove or the Max mode in N-Groove use a "Z+C" command. can anyone help me?
CozySquirtle Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 get a wired xbox 360 controller, cause wireless' suck, i know from experience.
ZXRagna Posted January 7, 2012 Author Posted January 7, 2012 I dont really like the wired one controllers. the control stick on the wired ones feels weird compared to the wireless ones
O Ilusionista Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 get a wired xbox 360 controller, cause wireless' suck, i know from experience. I have to disagree. My wireless xbox360 controller works like a charm.
NeoGeoKitsune Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 I also use a wireless 360 controller, it is advisable to have the Z and C buttons set to the Bumpers instead of Triggers; I use this config and experienced no problems with it. I have LB set for C and RB for Z. http://mugenfreeforall.com/public/style_emoticons//smile.png "I’m Cyan Garland, Captain of the Prairia Palace Guards." - Cyan Garland [Tail Concerto]

NeoGeoKitsune Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 I experienced the problem you have occured (It also happened when I first played Big Bang Beat Revolve), and changed my controls because of it (though it did take some getting used to http://mugenfreeforall.com/public/style_emoticons//mellow.png ) "I’m Cyan Garland, Captain of the Prairia Palace Guards." - Cyan Garland [Tail Concerto]
CozySquirtle Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 I dont really like the wired one controllers. the control stick on the wired ones feels weird compared to the wireless ones mines is a SF4 xbox 360 controller, it only has a D-Pad, which is great.
NeoGeoKitsune Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 mines is a SF4 xbox 360 controller, it only has a D-Pad, which is great. The D-pad on 360 controllers are some of the best i've used, I manage to pull of some insane comboes with GG characters, and KOF chars on mugen (Duck King XI) http://mugenfreeforall.com/public/style_emoticons//smile.png "I’m Cyan Garland, Captain of the Prairia Palace Guards." - Cyan Garland [Tail Concerto]
ZXRagna Posted January 7, 2012 Author Posted January 7, 2012 ehhh control sticks are easier for me to do HCF and QCF commands. i find it hard with a D-Pad
O Ilusionista Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Its not hard. Xbox Dpad sucks. That shit was made to play shooting games. That triggers are TERRIBLE
