lol yea man, when I was rebuilding the news board I think I know what happened.  I was trying out the 'double click and hold to drag' function on my track pad, trying to get used to it.  Now it just so happens that in the admin cp, the part where you're rearranging the forum tree is... very difficult to get them to land in the right place.  Super touchy.  So somewhere in that process I must have accidentally dragged the creator and edit boards into the help section.  Kinda ironic lol
