y2alex Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Hey all, does anyone know how to raise the character sounds other than through the CNS file?
0 Ryon Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 yes the hard way. extract all sounds and then using audacity incrase the volume. save it, and re-add them to the SND file. - Characters - / - Stages - / - Screenpacks - / - Lifebars - / - Fonts - / - Full Games - / - Templates -
0 y2alex Posted June 9, 2015 Author Posted June 9, 2015 Okay that's fine. I have audacity and I just got fighter's factory so how do you extract the SND files?
0 Ryon Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 load up the character, or the character's sound file. then go to "save sound as WAV" when the window pop's up, select ALL. and then select where you want it to save to. I recommend making a folder to put them in. y2alex 1 - Characters - / - Stages - / - Screenpacks - / - Lifebars - / - Fonts - / - Full Games - / - Templates -
0 y2alex Posted June 10, 2015 Author Posted June 10, 2015 Ok awesome, so once that's done and all the sounds are raised, how do you compress them back into a mugen sound file?
0 PlasmoidThunder Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Do the reverse. Add them back into the .snd file via Fighter Factory. You'll have to manually replace each individual sound with the louder version, so make sure you know which sound is which, else you might get some strange results :P y2alex 1 Project LG said: God knows you shit out characters like a friggin' gumball machine.
0 Ryon Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 make sure its .wav format, 16hz you can use 32, 44 and 48. but you won't hear a difference and filesize can be bigger. - Characters - / - Stages - / - Screenpacks - / - Lifebars - / - Fonts - / - Full Games - / - Templates -
0 y2alex Posted June 10, 2015 Author Posted June 10, 2015 Thanks for the help guys. Now I know what you meant about the "hard way" Tex, this is gonna be rough.
