Though it seems more that the West uses Proton Cannon, while Japan uses Master Spark. Just my observation.

Yeah, because they(assuming Master Spark's that rainbow beam.)essentially at heart are the same attack. But, I like Proton Cannon more. Not nearly as many joke edits use it anymore, compared to Master Spark.
