--------
Introduction
--------

- source game: Getsu Fuuma Den (Famicom), Genpi Touran (homebrew 2DFighterMaker2nd game)
- intro:  if you search Genpei Toumaden Kagekiyo and Getsu Fuuma Den Getsufuma you may find some say they are copycats with each other
* I like Getsu Fuuma Den Getsufuma very much!  I always want to mugenize him but no decent custom sprites are available, now that some decent custom Kagekiyo sprites are out, so I decide to modify Kagekiyo to make a Getsufuma

--------
Custom Getsufuma
--------

Basic Moves:
------------
Sword Toss     hold Forward/Backward + y/z when close to P2
Taunt       start button

Normal Moves:
-------------
Light Punch     x (jumping version can be used for cross-body attack)
Medium Slash     y
Heavy Slash     z (P2 must block/guard high for the standing overhead chop)

Unique Move:
-------------
Sword Wave    standing z
     * can only be used within a fixed time period, when the "Sword Wave"/"波動劍" gauge is full
     * ten (10) successful slashes can fill up the "Sword Wave"/"波動劍" gauge

Special Moves:
--------------
Samurai Stars:
      Down, Down-Forward, Forward + x/y/z    fireball projectile
Spinning Top:
      Forward, Down, Down-Forward + x/y/z    anti-air attack
War Drum:
      Down, Down-Backward, Backward  + x/y/z    fireball projectile
* the "power"/"力" fireball projectile doesn't cause any damages, rather, it pushes P2 away
Explosive:
      a/b/c            ground-only trap
      * when it explodes it causes damages to both P1 and P2

Super Moves:
------------
Mystical Costume  Down, Down-Forward, Forward, Down, Down-Forward, Forward + x
     * requires and consumes power=1000 (1000/3000)
     * when dressed, P1 will be invisible for a fixed time period
Protective Orbs    Down, Down-Forward, Forward, Down, Down-Forward, Forward + y
     * requires and consumes power=2000 (2000/3000)
     * when used, P1 will be protected by six (6) orbs which can both attack and take damages
3D Maze style attack  Down, Down-Forward, Forward, Down, Down-Forward, Forward + z
     * requires and consumes power=3000 (3000/3000)
     * when activated, P1 will jump out and re-enter the screen in a 3rd-person angle and P1 can move either right or left and use x/y/z buttons to do slashes, for a fixed time period

Go! Getsu Fuma! Really nice idea to use those sprites to recreate this classic char! I enjoy your use of the retro sound effects & his abilities. Great stuff! Will test and give some feedback.

EDIT:

AI is cheating! :awesome AI can use super moves without the required power bar amount.

"Mystical Costume" super is very powerful for a level 1 super, maybe you should switch "Protective Orbs" as a level 1 (seeing as how small the damage is from the orb hits) and "Mystical Costume" to a level 2 super.

Small suggestion - use the step sounds in the "3D Maze style attack" for Getsufumas running step sounds.

"3D Maze style attack" super - p2 is not turning around if Getsufuma is switching sides, other way around (p2 is turning when p2 is switching sides with Getsufuma) it´s working.

How about adding the "Sword Wave" unique move to his jumping z attack, since he could do that in the source game too?

Staubhold, you really are one of the few quality-feedback-givers!  :bow:And, most importantly, you are interested in my MUGEN stuff..........I am so touched~~~~ :crywithno:

Overlooking flaws in my MUGEN stuff is one of my biggest weaknesses.  I am so glad I met you in MFFA here!
