In the beginning, I spent most if my time finding and testing new characters and stages. Then I really got into making mixed and "themed" compilations. Once I figured out how to I make basic custom ports, I went compilation crazy! Trapped on my broken hardrive is around 40-50 compilations. I only actually playedonly a few of them. After I broke my hardrive, I had to start over. That's when I decided that instead of just hunting down various mugen creations, I would just make my own. Now I rarely play any mode other than training. I just recently played arcade mode all the way threw. But like most creators, once I create something, I'm already thinking of some thing else to create. Actually, I usually have several ideas in my head at once. I know y'all feel what I'm saying...
