According to producer Tomoko Hiroki, while Dragon Ball titles of recent years have been 3D, they chose 2.5D this time because there were some things that can only be done in that style. While it looks like 2D animation at first glance, it has a broader range of expression as they can shift camera angles and incorporate a lot of unique production not possible in 2D alone.
It should be noted that the press release for this announcement is dated June 12, meaning that Bandai Namco accidentally shared this information ahead of its official reveal. A teaser commercial announced on Monday morning that an game adaptation of the Little Witch Academia anime has "finally" been green-lit for the PlayStation 4 console. Bandai Namco Entertainment will ship the Little Witch Academia: Toki no Mahō to Nana Fushigi (Little Witch Academia: The Magic of Time and the Seven Wonders) "heart-trobbing, exciting action adventure game" this year.
The game will tell an original story about Akko and the others searching the Luna Nova Magical Academy to uncover the seven wonders therein. The game will recreate the detailed expressions and dynamic movements from the anime in 3D. The game will include "impressive" CG animation in the battle scenes.The tagline on the game's website reads, "The story of the witches who aim for the future is not over…"

To switch AI off, go to Scathacha_AI and and change Trigger14 to 0
