  1. There are a lot of characters that have better versions on the roster. Infinite's characters have a lot of flaws, like having several infinites and giving the characters too many attacks to the point where they don't feel like the original characters at all. Some better examples would be:

    Ryu by Pots/warusuki3/GM/Mouser

    Gambit by Kamekaze

    Terry Bogard by Sander7113/vans/GM/Koopakoot/Tora

    King by Warusuki3

    Ken by GM/Jmorphman/Warusuki3

    Chun li by Jmorphman/H

    Kyo by Vans/Sanders7113/Jmorphman

  2. Maybe it could hurt without making the opponent flinch? If this was the case, then the sandstorm damage shouldn't kill the opponent (god knows the funny bugs that would happen if someone tried to throw Krookodile while the sandstorm was active). And maybe it could just hit three times and then stop? I'm not sure how we can salvage this (or if it's salvageable at all).

  3. I wonder if he can fix these little errors.

But goshdarn, Dragonrod is only beginning on MUGEN. Don't compare him like he is being the new Chuchoryu or something like that.

I'm with Remzy. Nobody said he was like that. Plus, your first character can be good. You just have to take your time, research fighting games, research coding, get people to beta test it, lurk in forums to avoid rookie mistakes, all that good stuff. If you dive into character making blind, you'll get bad results.

  4. Yeah, that sandstorm thing is really not something that should be in a fighting game. I get that he wanted to make Sandstorm function like in the Pokemon games, but it's just not something that translates well. Honestly, I think it should have just been a generic fullscreen super (that you can block and punish of course) or scrapped entirely.

So a fellow by the name of Dragonrod made his first character, a Krookodile. The gameplay is partially based off of Gladiacloud's Charizard, with x, y and z being the light, medium and heavy attacks, and c being launcher/OTG (or in this character's case, knockdown and damaging teleport). A lot of the attacks miss up close, but hey, pretty sprites.

  6. Sweet. Never heard of someone making a self character for someone else.

An issue I see is that the crouching kicks don't hit low. This is a similar issue in Chelnov and Buck Dozer. How come a lot of your characters don't have attacks that hit low?

  7. Oh man, I remember this fight from Super Mario World on the GBA. Good times. I might have to use a less traditional character to fight this guy.

Also, shouldn't this be the SNES Bowser re-imagining, since Super Mario World was made on the snes?

  8. Dragonball's humor was the main reason I loved it so much.

.. And then DBZ happened and everything got serious.

Typical anime. First they're goofy and have a sense of humor, then they have the characters sob hysterically every second that there is. Looking at you, One Piece.

Apparently I'm the big grey mass with the handsome face.

Some dude called SonicCrash made this btw.

Oh my god, so true. I just hope Dyl doesn't get a hold of this. He can't take jokes all that well.

  10. Lol at him calling the guy faker. What is he, Shadow the Hedgehog? I love it when people talk like 60's comic book characters and expect to be taken seriously.
