    Finally, after over 1 month of waiting, i released him! I worked on Ridley all of this time and fixed a lot of bugs while waiting. I also worked on few other things when i was bored like updated Norfair stage and Chaos Ridley`s stage called "Chaos". He works like Infinite`s characters with few differences, but they aren`t really noticable...except for the lack of palette selector. His sprites look a lot better than my previous Ridley`s and he is just better than my previous Ridley. I need your feedback quickly because i just can`t wait to make him better! Also, i removed few things while working on him like alternate voices. Image preview: Also, he has a special intro against Samus, Cloud and Sephiroth. Note: since his sff file is very large (180mb), he may cause some lags. I don1t have any lags, but you may have them. And i recommend you to use MUGEN 1.1 for this character.

    Looks awesome and a lot better than my version...kinda wish there will be another metroid stage remake, like "chasing the nemesis" remake...This stage is good for characters with tough AI, especially with those alarm sounds.
     
    I agree with you, they should be in th-- wait a second...

    Ridley "MOTHERF_____" got a reaction from Flowering Knight in BSB Samus Beta v1.6   
    Yeah...i rushed this release a bit, but only in form of replacing Power Bomb with Concentration and not including grapple beam (because i couldn`t make required GFX) and sense move. But i included missile (but not dark beam) ammo system.
    About dark beam - it deals high damage to creatures from light (default) world, but deals nearly nothing to creatures from dark world...which doesn`t exist right now...anyway, it may be a bit unbalanced right now, but i will fix that with ammo system.

      P.S. there is no readme, so, if you don`t know Samus - read manual or wiki article. And there won`t be any just as a homage to original Metroid.

    Ridley "MOTHERF_____" got a reaction from Werewood in BSB Meta Ridley (project moved from just idea engenering to Alpha stage)   
    I will work on this one whenever i will get bored while making Samus. So, i decided to make yet another BSB Metroid character and it is... Meta Ridley! If you don`t know Metroid franchise/universe, then just know that its the same guy as Ridley, just cyberneticaly enhanced to survive after his first battle with Samus, so, its not a robot or a clone...or a zombie. Unlike my Ridley, his tail can`t stretch, but is still invincible. His fireballs and missiles used in specials isn`t invincible, but his laser and bombs are. And he talks less. Some of his attacks are made-up, but thats only to make his moveset different from Ridley`s.
    But first, i need someone who would fix every sprite after i will finish adding them to have normal colors and no background...I still didn`t figured out how to do that by myself and nothing that i tried helps... Idle preview (not the final version): Also, this means Kraid is now more possible, but he will be boss anyway...but i don`t think someone cares about him...

But for now, i have to figure out how to make taunt change beam type, make missiles and 3 beams use "ammo" that will be refilled using "Concentration" specials and few other thing... Also, ice beam requires to cooldown after being used...seriously.

    Want to make a character, but don`t want to make sprites or just want to make 2.5D character? Then read this tutorial. It can be used for stages too.
    Maybe there was similar topic/thread, if there was SAME or this one is pointless/useless - delete this one, but first notify me.
    Step -1: 
    What you need:
    Model from here or just a DAE or MDL0 model;
    BrawlBox ;
    Time;
    Skills in posing models.
    Step 0:
    Read readme;
    Open model with BrawlBox (model is located in the pac file) or, if you are using DAE or MDL0 model without pac file, create one by opening brawlbox, new>create ARC file, then create new BRResource Pack, then import model you need inside this pack, save as PAC file;
    Adjust camera settings, click "Save Camera" if there is no "Clear Camera" button, model must be facing camera and be in the center;
    Create animation pack file in the same way as model, but instead of importing model, create new model animation, save this file as PAC (skip this part if you have animation file already);
    Step 1:
    Load said file;
    Toggle floor and hide bones and verticles
    Open animation, add more frames (i mostly make 20) on the right side of Frame: count (skip this part if you have animations ready for use);
    Pose model, but make sure it touches floor;
    Skip few frames, go to the step above until you will be close to the last frame;
    Go to frame 1, in the "Transform All", press "Copy", then "Paste" in the last frame;
    Create new CHR0, repeat steps above;
    Step 2:
    Hide everything except for polygons, then get ready because your fingers may hurt:
    Press "CTRL+SHIFT+I", then "Enter" to remove message, then "PageUp", repeat until you will reach semi-last frame (skip 2-4 frames if you don`t want smooth animations);
    Put all screenshots of current animations(they must be in the same place as brawlbox, just in the folder "Screen Capture") into the folder with animation`s name;
    Go to next animation, repeat until you will make last animation screenshots;
    Step 3:
    Go to "How to make a character" tutorial.
     
    That is all  . If you have questions - tell me.
    Now i have to work on Meta Ridley and Tallon IV chase stage...
