  2. How is this KOF '99 styled? KOF 99 Robert is Guile Robert. It's just the KOF '99 art work. Move wise, he's closest to KOF '98.
  3. Awwright. Now we need KOF96+ and KOF95- CVS2 Robert. Well, not really. But I'd gladly find room for all of them.

  5. KOF99 was fairly new at the time and nothing from that era was used for CVS2. Hibiki is probably the newest character in the game, in any form. In contrast, Haohmaru is somewhere between SS2 and SS3, Yuri is some kind of KOF96 and AOF2 combination. So on. Also, yay updates.
  6. So anyways. This character in review. CONS: - Typo in air for his taunt. Last frame should use group 180 not 181. - Hien Shippu Kyuku state needs to be higher than low fireball in CMD because (db),f+K is technically a variant of qcf+K. NITPICKS: - If Capcom really made CVS2 Robert, 99.5% chance he'd be AOF3/KOF96 Robert. The other 0.5% chance is that he's AOF2 Robert. - Capcom colors + SNK sprites != Capcom sprites. He's really more like Garou styled. Not that it matters because he looks fine. PROS: - If Capcom really made CVS2 Robert, there's the same 99.5% chance that this is his exact moveset besides the low fireball. - Mega fun to use and plays well. In short, it's a masterpiece.
  7. It's graphically based on KOF98UM Krauser who is based on KOF96 Krauser. Frankly, that's unfortunate what with it being the worst looking rendition of Krauser.
  8. The fact he's newfangled Robert is disappointing, but oh well. I've waited like 10 years for this.

  11. [Preview] [Download] My 4Shared Folder (FF2Breakcar.zip) [Comments] Yeah, it's that thing. It has three points of breaking. Not entirely accurate. Lacking sounds and explod for getting hit (not for "breaking"). Also you can't jump on it because I wasn't interested in trying to implement that given what a horrible hack it is. Oh, and there's no timer or anything. Otherwise, it works fine! Includes character, stage, and music.
  12. Yeah. Unless you know something that I don't, this character has very little projectile management, can't even do LP,LP,MP,HP combo, and is mega slow. He has that grab move that's pretty brutal in the corner, but I've seen worse.
  13. I tried Colossus and didn't think he was bad. I wasn't ever able to get much going with him in MVC2, so the fact he's so slow and nigh useless until you actually get close enough to hit isn't much of a surprise. Fits well enough in a roster not inundated with overpowered MVC2 characters and cheap jerks.

I've created a very hilariously simple yet effective character(s) using PoTS's Strength Training. Rather than controlling Strength Training, you directly control a thug as a player. The folder contains 5 defs. One is palette controlled, the other four are the individual characters. I've given them posh, unsuitable names for the heck of it. There is working AI. I'd love to put up a video, but I lack that ability at this time, so you'll just have to download and try it out.
  16. [Preview] [Download] My 4shared folder [Comments] I fixed some random bonus stages and stuff. fixed_madgear.zip = Madgear bonus character fixed. Proper scaling, enemies use the player type helper, and don't move stupidly. This means that turning the right direction is possible. fixed_sf2car.zip = Proper scaling and a bunch of fixes for various hits. I never really finished this, so uhh...it's probably a mess of functional. fixed_sf2chunli.zip = Shacti's Chun-li with proper scaling and proper motion for Spinning Bird Kick. Nothing else. fixed_Zombiehorde.zip = The zombie horde bonus character using player type helpers so that you face the right direction and it's not impossible. Other note worthy things: Mario Stage Fix: Do this in statedef 0 to make characters work on the mario stage and sf2 bricks. [state 0, 5] ;Are you floating? type = ChangeState triggerall = pos y < 0 trigger1 = (pos y) - (helper, pos y) > 0 ; Only if I'm not standing on a helper. value = 50 And I updated all my other stuff. My crappy screenpack fixed up, a fix for my life bars, added some missing hit sparks, fixed the break the walls bonus, fixed the oil drums again, and made a minor adjustment to ccirugal94coat.
  17. You know what would be great next? If the inevitable Vega that he's going to release is conveniently the SF2CE version. Because I'd hate to think that he's honestly creating these characters from scratch when there's characters (namely from SSF2T) that don't exist and/or suck.
  18. Hilarious. Seems to worst best in watch mode with ctrl+1 to enable P1. Unfortunately, you can't use run time options to set players 5-8 for a quick match. Watch mode it is.
  19. Ok, I think I really fixed it this time. If it continues to display strange and flakey behavior, then I have no idea what else to do. Man, I wish. That would be quite a feat for the likes of me. Honestly, I wouldn't even know how to make the barrel object work. :(

  21. Hey, I'm not dead! I decided that I had nothing better to do, so I fixed the slow falling barrel glitch. Reverse engineering my own code was painful, but I did it on my own. Yes, really. Download link is the same. *edit* I also fixed a strange glitch where sometimes, the barrels would respawn. But it's highly unlikely that you downloaded a version with just one of the fixes.
  22. Oh hey, it's you. Well, my name isn't Mark Worth and I already made the oil drum bonus background, but that isn't the point. Part of your fix moves the barrels away from the middle of the screen which is unfortunately incorrect. They need to be centered. They follow you around because they're made for a stage with no scrolling. But I certainly appreciate and commend you for having the patience to track down and fix the slow drop glitch. I hope you don't take it as me trying to be pissy or snide.
  23. She needs juggle attribute added to all of her special moves. That helps. It wouldn't hurt if she was slower though. Genjuro is certainly sluggish in comparison.
  24. I tried a few of these. Really good work. Charlotte is especially nice to find even if she is a combo-whore.
  25. Incredible. I never played as him in SFEX, but he's a really cool character.
