  4. Hey what's up guys its me R@CE AKIR@ back with another character that's different from what I normally make. Before I go into this character I would like to say that my old Wips are still being worked on, this character was started because of me being inspired by the CVS 3 Screenpack by Enlightend Shadow and the characters made by creators like J-Morph, Rajaa, Crazy Koopa, Divine Wolf, Pots and of course Infinite himself. He has all of his classic moves including newer ones done to fit this style of game play. Marco Rodriguez/Khushnood Butt Updated 8/11/13 Re-download What's Fixed/ Changed/Added - Fixed the positioning on the Level 3 Portrait and on his lay down on the ground sprite - I think I have finally fixed that horrible bug that crashes mugen when you do the Zanrestuken - Took the collision boxes off like Divine Wolf suggested - Fixed the Forward Dodge animation - Added Dashing Forward and Stopping animations - Added another Var to the config file so now you guys can choose between Running Forward or Dashing Forward (Run is default) - Fixed the problem with the Harai counter with its attributes being corrected more like Geese - Added counter hitspark from Pot's Geese to the counter special move Harai - Fixed damage on both the normal Ko'ouken and the EX Ko'ouken The normal does a damage of 50 and EX does 110 - Fixed it to where now you can't have level 1 super moves cancelling into each other - Adjusted the The Kyokugen Elbow Throw so now he is knocked further away - Fixed it so that the Kyokugen Elbow Throw doesn't leave player 2 laying on the floor for too long - Included some portraits that I made for Enlightened Shadow's Capcom Vs. SNK 3 1.1 screenpack for Marco Rodriguez just add simple put them in as is, they are already aligned Notes: - One thing about me is that I'm lazy when doing Collision boxes. I will do most but not all will be perfect. Will try to improve that - I cannot sprite so whom ever wants to help me out and sprite a better running animation for Marco, by all means please do. - Sorry but i'm not changing the wall bounces. I like them like that. Its not bad IMO and its only on stuff that would cause for or just for the look. I see the same thing on chars moves in SF4, and SFxT and people were fine with it on there and its what I like so they stay - Commands will stay the same, might will do another update to add a trigger in to please those who want it another way
  6. He has never said they were half-assed, but what he has said is the same thing I have said, that he didnt like them anymore. Like I said before, I just wanted to speak on that whole matter about the edits cus I see plenty of people having mixed feelings about them. Not just you I'm not mad you or anything Laharl, i just wanted to speak on that is all.
  7. (NOTE : DO NOT TAKE WHAT I AM SAYING HERE LIKE IM ONLY TALKING TO YOU) Let me be really clear when I say this. Non of the stuff he made was half assed. Alot of the stuff he made was done the way it was because he was still learning Reason being is because back then, nobody else was trying to do what I myself started and what infinite continued. And whether it had been good or bad, we are the ones who took the time to do some stuff that no one else was really trying to do. Because no one else was trying to make anybody else besides the same old people from the original mvc games into mvc style or somethin that tried to be like it atleast. (By all means I know the edits were not accurate at all, they were made for fun) Now I agree, looking back at these, they aren't really that good when you look at them now, but remember these are old and like I said, he was still learning as well as I and alot of people gave me and him shit about our edits but now look........ All these people are literally trying to get their hands on them now........(Now aint that somethin lol) My point is, everyone has to start some where and I find it very amazing how alot of people dogged me and infinite out about those edits and these same people are now like "OMG I LOVE YOUR STUFF NOW" Like, what if me or him decided to quit mugen because of hate given to us for just simply making things for fun (edits mainly). Feedback was one thing but the drama that came with it was unnecessary. And I see plenty of people these days releasing edits in the same manner as what me and infinite used to do, and I dont see anybody coming at them saying what they do is half assed or anything. (Durracellur. Mr.Karate, Beto, Boryema, Koldschool, etc.) ( Note none of which are accurate at all to the style they are trying to emulate, kinda like what me and infinite used to do yet still are enjoyable) People have their entitlement to like what they want to, but i feel that you should support people in mugen even when they first start out at as a beginner, you wanna kno why? Because you never know what skills they might develop and how great they may become, and Infinite is a prime example as to why you should. And i'm sure there are other out there as well.
  8. Before this is read, note that I am not mad, however this is my opinion on the whole matter I know for a fact that I did a good job on those voice overs no matter what anyone says. I worked hard on them, and I'm not a paid professional voice actor and I did the best I could. I was asked personally by Infinite to do them (HE LOVED THEM) and even after he said he would have a custom voice over at the guild, I didn't see anyone else offering to do a voice acting job for Cable and I feel like if anyone can do better then by all means knock yourself out... I guess maybe Infinite should have given you all those crappy low quality ones that other people have used on their old creations then everything would be good. Guess you just can't please everyone all the time though but hey that's life...... Now with all of that outta the way.... (Waits for someone to take me up on the job and top what I did)

  12. Well I won't say all of that about them, cus not everyone there is bad. Vyn and Sabaki I know first hand make good characters. But anyway I looked over the guide, and the guide is pretty well put together actually. He breaks everything down and its all fair. Too each their own I guess but all i'm saying is that regardless of whatever they may have put out, that guide is very well put together and it all makes since. So I decided to use it, and I even compared the damages listed in their with other characters mostly pots style like characters and I got results that were near the same.

Hmm WelI I went by a Character guide made by DCL from IMT he's better known as DarkCiperLucius and I know he knows his stuff with balancing out characters...The damage he had set for level 3's for normal characters was 439 And I just tried Raging Raph Finale and it does exactly 417 worth of damage.Plus I tried Super Inferno and it did exactly 439 worth of damage.... The only one that does a great amount of damage is the Ultra which is already like a desperation move and it does exactly 480 worth of damage. The dampener is already there, I've checked it and also had it checked by Mr.Infinite himself. I wont say what I did was perfect but its definitely there. So its not like Raph is doing OMG like damage on his opponents. Not saying you said that, i'm just saying. I do agree about the damage on the Ultra, I didnt realize I had it that high although ts still not too high and it is a desperation attack that can only be done with your life being low and with three power bars. I shall go back and tone that down. There are a few other things I have found that I have already fixed but other than that. I still have some more work I want to do to him. Thanks for giving him a chance and trying him out man. I appreciate your feedback on him. Its exactly what I need to get this guy in the right direction.

Raphael is a very aggresive character with a shorter range than Leonardo but his moves and fighting ability make up for it. (I was aiming for him to take on sword type characters like Hayato from MVC and others like Strider etc...) Raphael has 8 Special moves 1. Fire Shot - D,DF,F, punch 2.   18. Ok Guys I will be releasing an update that fixes alot of problems that have been found, mainly from guild and also some stuff mentioned here. This will be the 2nd update, anything else that will be added on or changed will come in the 3rd update.

  22. Mugen Lord whats up dude! Man dude I'm sorry but um....there ain't no way i'm going near this character... heck I didn't even play with him. All i had to see was the feedback from others and the video, and I was turned off already. LOL I feel it was rushed and he should have waited til he got more stuff done. Maybe if more stuff was done then I might have worked my magic but I can't fix something that doesn't even have the sprites for it. So in other words I can't fix what I don't have. He needs to fix this character himself. Not trying to bash but all he needs to do is complete the character sprites and I'm sure others wouldn't mind coding this the right way.

New DEMO Video for TMNT Donatello http-~~-//youtu.be/TyLhHQS51iY CHECK IT OUT! :) Donatello so far has been the hardest Turtle to make because of his sprites, and also ideas on how to bring his Wind powers to life. I'm almost done with him yet but this should give you guys a taste of what i have so far. And remember this is just a demo so all bugs if seen will be fixed. Everything on him is mostly done, and I'd say what you see right now is him at 90 percent. However, while making the other turtles I got mic so i could record newer voice overs with better quality. With Raphael a lot of his old voice overs stuck with me, but I will have to go back in and replace the old with the new once they are recorded. I'm almost done with him yet but this should give you guys a taste of what i have so far. And remember this is just a demo so all bugs if seen will be fixed.
