As far as I can tell, the phone verification thing doesn't even have anything to do with the Mugen Archive's discord, although Dizzy's spam/DDOS campaign against MFFA back in April and you guys's response to it might have been where he got the idea. Spam actually isn't even half the problem on MA that Dizzy would like people to think it is, most spammers on MA are actually welcomed by him since they provide a constant stream of the MUGEN equivalent of clickbait to net MA more of that precious traffic. When I made that post bringing up the concern of Dizzy doing this phone verification thing to harvest data, I wasn't actually sure that was his aim, I just wanted to bring it up since it's one of those things that everyone in that thread was thinking but no one actually wanted to say out of fear of getting banned by Dizzy. I knew him losing his shit and banning me was a possibility, and the fact that he did tells me my gut instinct about his intentions was right. People don't freak out over bullshit accusations, they freak out when someone hits too close to home.
 
 
Yup, I've been on Dizzy's shitlist since 2017 for calling him out on how he handled the Cesarsombra/Cesarshadow thing (his mods permabanned the guy for hate speech against myself and others, but Dizzy reversed it because Cesar donates a portion of his autismbux to MA every month). I've tried to give the dude the benefit of the doubt, even after the community weekends (a thing I'm mostly sure by now he does just to screw with his new users for the fun of it) and his driving off several of my good friends on that side. The dude's got obvious mental health issues and I tried to take that into account for the longest time, but after I did some digging and found out about his past and BladeArt and the scummy things he did under that name, I just completely lost any trace of anything even remotely resembling respect for the guy.
 
One thing that you and the other people who were burned by the Mugen Archive years ago can take comfort in: Dizzy is absolute and completely obsessed with you guys. Like, honest-to-god, malignant paranoid narcissist levels of obsessed. It's one of the first thing I noticed about him, he's talking about "his haters" constantly, I believe the phrase "living rent free in the head" was coined for people like him. It's even kinda funny in a sad way, he makes enemies for himself with his antisocial jackass behavior, then obsesses over those enemies and abuses his members because he thinks they're possible enemies/enemies in disguise, thereby creating more actual enemies for himself, and on and on it goes. The best thing that could happen to the Mugen Archive would be if the person actually keeping it afloat (Justice would be my guess) realized how toxic Dizzy is and kicked his useless ass to the curb. Everything else about the site runs like a top, it's just Dizzy himself that's the problem.
 
 
Please don't get the wrong impression from my post. Dizzy's not pulling any strings, he doesn't have the brains for it. He's more the figurehead of MA, a moron who gets the front-facing work while the real brains behind the site keep it running from the background. If you want an idea of what kind of brain trust you're dealing with in Dizzy, read this post about incompetent Amazon managers. Because that's all Dizzy is, an incompetent warehouse manager constantly throwing bad ideas at a wall to see if any of them stick. MA is successful despite Dizzy, not because of him (being the only warehousing game in town since the death of Mugen Infantry also helps).
 
 
I can give you one: this guy (who is either one of Dizzy's pet speds or yet another sock for Dizzy/BladeArt himself) is so nuts that he should absolutely be allowed to speak freely. Let this loon tell the world exactly the kind of mentality that supports Dizzy of the Mugen Archive. Go on, @sero, tell us more about how anyone who speaks out against your master should have their bones broken. Tell us all about what you and Dizzy would do to anyone who dares criticize the almighty jackass in chief of the Mugen Archive if only you and him had any actual power outside of his sad little Internet fiefdom.

I find it amazing that both Ape Escape AND M.U.G.E.N have turned 20 years old this year, so here's an Ape Escape stage for anyone to fight on. This was the final level of the original game and an amusement park run by the series antagonist, Specter! >:)  The stage uses graphics from the 2005 PSP remake On the Loose.

Zombie heads can fly in viral outbreak...?

Ok I tried to post this a few days ago, but it obviously didn't work.
 
Holy Shit, I am so sorry to everyone for the problems that have been going on with the site.
 
Here's what happened and what's happening now,
 
- I tried to resolve an issue some users where having by tweaking some of the archiving settings.  This backfired in the worst possible way, and caused all sorts of problems.
 
- By shear coincidence, my computer decided to shit the bed completely the second I adjusted those settings.  The waiting mouse cursor appeared and never stopped.  I tried rebooting in safe mode, only to find the hard drive had completely failed.
 
- By another shear and awful coincidence, my girlfriends computer started getting hacked relentlessley about 2 weeks before this happened.  Her gmail, yahoo and facebook password keep getting changed.  In effect, I'm extremely wary of using her computer for anything administrative because I don't want to compromise forum security.
 
-  So I take my busted computer to the shop, which is normally very quick, and it winds up taking them about 2 weeks to clone the thing.  They kept telling me it was going to be another day or 2 but they kept running into problems, both with the drive and with their own internal communications.
 
- During this time period Ryon was able to restore the cp settings to a previous state, which brought us from not working at all, to working but slowly.
 
- We were also able to get him into the bluehost server account and the ips account, but tech supprt has not been effective yet.
 
- When I got my computer back, however, the cloning proccess had only partially worked, and most of the data was corrupted.  So I sent it out to a specialist who has it right now, and is charging me a fucking exorbitent amount of money to repair it.  They should be done by wed.
 
- I asked the shop to check for signs of tampering, hacking etc, and they said they saw nothing that would indicate it.  So our forum security should be fine.  However I am still extremely hesitant to use my gfs computer for any of this stuff, seeing how many times her info's been hacked in the last 3 or 4 weeks.  I absolutely do not want to compromise anyone's security here.
 
- Once my computer comes back, I'm going to completely dive into into contact with tech support while I learn to adjust all the settings of the site personally.  I will make sure this shit is running smoothly by the time I'm done, if not faster than before.
 
This is not exactly the grand re-opening any of us was hoping for.  We actually have a couple of really fun surprises up our sleeves for the sute that we were getting ready before all this stuff went down.  Once we get these issue's get resolved, we'll start revealing what exactly those surprises are... All I can say in the meantime is I think everyone's really going to enjoy them :) 

Thank you to everyone who's stuck with us through all this, we will get it resolved soon.  To anyone who's feeling the need to take a break from the forum due to the issues, please please please check back in a week or two, and by then everything should be working just fine.  Again my sincerest apologies to everyone for having to deal with the slow down.  It's in no way permanent.  Any questions or even suggestions anyone has in the meantime are more than welcome.

So, as you guys know, a certain website (I'd mention the name, but I guess that's against the rules) that hosts mugen creations of all kinds is being a threat to those that use the service, allowing people who download to have a chance at being infected by some kind of malware or adware or other BS. Well anyways, I don't know if this is an okay post or not, but if it is, then I hope it helps you all, as it is working just fine for me and it helps on many places that have downloading issues.
 
 
(NOTE: Works with Firefox & Chrome)
 
So, when you go to that one website (M****A******), after you have registered an account, do the following below:
 
1) Install the add-on/plugin called "Greasemonkey". Turn it on once installed, if it is on, the box WON'T be grayed out a bit.
2) Next up, look online for the "fork" or "script" called "AdsFight!" (it has been removed from GreasyFork and a few other places, so you'll have to find a mirror download or something, don't worry, it isn't dangerous).
3) Go back to M****A******.
4) Go to the page you wish to download whatever it is from.
5) RIGHT CLICK on the DOWNLOAD button and it will say "copy link location" or something like that.
6) Copy it and paste it into a new page.
7) Success!
 
What AdsFight does it block the adfly page altogether (sometimes it doesn't, but it kills any scripts the page is running except for the actual file to download) and it also bypasses the "you have adblock enabled, disable it" message so that you can download without any issues.
 
 
 
Oh and for people who want to download from 4shared, just go to cyber4shared.com, since you can use it to bypass registering at 4shared and still download. Make sure you use the 4shared download link that says "/get/" in it. Meaning, once on 4shared, click download, then copy the download location that would be like 4shared.com/???????/get/????????.rar or whatever.
