He may be too young to remember it, Laharl. We were lucky to have such awesome Disney's toons and growing up in the '90s. Darkwing Duck's original run was around 91-92, he wasn't even born by the time

Darkwing Duck got lots of super-heroes and noir references, it got such nice concepts and all. Also it's one hilarious series Laharl, do you mind sending him the links to your Darkwing Duck's comics? I think if he read 1 or 2 issues he's going to be hooked by it

sure but the comics take place AFTER the series is over so he might get confused about past story events. this is not just the show in comic form its like a second coming of darkwing duck just in a comic rather than cartoon.

Noir is a style, it started with noir movies. They are usually crime dramas, particularly those that emphasize cynical attitudes and sexual motivations. Hollywood's classic film noir period is generally regarded as extending from the early 1940s to the late 1950s and many of those moves were black-and-white and stuff. Do you know this cliche of detective/police stories with a mysterious murderer, a femme fatale and stuff? That's the basic premise. Some of the most recents noir films are Zodiac (2009), Shutter Island (2010), The Big Bang (2011) and Drive (2011). Even The Dark Knight (yup, the Batman movie) follows a noir-like structure.
