it works Ry. it works on my 119+, but it's just a bit slow on my particular pc, tho that's just due to her age i reckon. Cinder on the SNES version was damn'd near unstoppable, due to how phukkin' he was. i have abused him quite a bit myself back when xD

well, the console versions of KI & KI 2 [KI Gold] are a bit rough to physically come across for some. emulation helps save some of that process, in a sense, & also keeps the spirit of playin' with buds, even tho some might be umpteen miles away, alive & well, i think.
