Software that converts animation/image into a sprite/pixel art image

I looked in Google for these types of software and I didn't found what I wanted.Is it possible to convert an image to a sprited image without being damaged?I mean I know that you have to create the sprite manually but why can't you do it automatically?It takes hours until you have the sprite/pixel done and if you do it automatically you wouldn't need such time.Do you know that type of software?

wait..are you wanting to convert a jpg into a format for fighter factory? also, it's best to make them, those hours of effort are not for nothing. as far as programs that do this sorta thing...i don't know any. but i do recommend you try to make your own animations and sprites first and see if you can find ways to shorten the worktime.
