Giant robots are mandatory?

Guys, I want to know your opinion: A good Sentai need to have a giant robot to be good? Tell me what you think about it.

When you think about it, giant robots has become most iconic thing of Super Sentai since the 80's (they also important cash-maker for Toei and Bandai :p) , so it's quite impossible for them to create a robots-less team in this modern day. A Super Sentai team without giant robots will just look weird, and you can't call them a Super Sentai team at all! XD

But indeed, nowadays I'm not enjoying these giant robot battle as much as i did when i was a kid, mostly because the dynamic limitation due to the usage of suit actor and heavy costume, and also the fact that it always quite monotone and one-sided for each episodes (combine => slash => monster explode before he could counter the attack).

In the end, i didn't hate the bots, I do really love giant robots and mechs, just hoping they would handle it better in future seasons.
