I played Melty Blood Series once, I use him as my first character he got an evil twin brother, Shiki Nanaya.

Nanaya ain't Tohno's brother, he's an alternate reality version of him.

I was about to say that.

 

I don't remember all particulars, but Shiki Tohno isn't really part of the Tohno family, he was adopted. He was part of a family/clan of assassins (Nanaya clan) that was destroyed because there was a war between clans (this is what I don't remember clearly) but he survived and got adopted by the Tohno family (which is the other family that was in the war, if I recall correctly; but feel free to correct me). The Nanaya name is written in the knife he keeps and it comes from his family.

 

To make it short, he becomes Nanaya when he takes his eyeglasses out.
