the Teenage Muntant Ninja Turtles were kinda like that too it's amazing how different the 87 cartoon is to the original comics.

I saw Deadpool origins in a Cable & Deadpool v2 comics and during the series Deadpool had some serious moments at random, like when he willing helped some charlatan at a new world order church that wanted to turn everyone baldy and blue (?!)
