  1. Xenoblade is a solid game and Xenoblade 2 graphic wise blows ps3/xbox game out the water.
  2. Sadly Fighting games are getting to that point there seems to be so many coming out a few months apart
  3. RUMOUR: SEGA to Announce New Sonic Game Next Month? Sources close to SEGA have informed The Sonic Stadium that the publisher intends to announce/tease a new game within the Sonic the Hedgehog series next month. Sonic fans will recall that February 2nd is of course what SEGA calls ‘Hedgehog Day’, a day the company usually likes to tease fans about upcoming Sonic games. However, one of our sources states that the game won’t be announced until mid-February, while another just says we “will hear about it from official sources next month”. It’s likely SEGA could tease a reveal on Hedgehog Day and make a proper announcement later in the month. One source has shared what they allege to be details about the new game. The game’s title doesn’t appear to be finalized yet, but its platforms are. It will be released on Wii U, PS3, 360, 3DS, PS Vita, PC, and “Next gen” consoles. This source says anything involving these new consoles is strictly confidential to people at the top of the company, so they unfortunately don’t have any information to share about those versions. As for the other versions, the source states the console, PC and PS Vita versions will be identical aside from the graphical differences, while the 3DS version will be another Sonic Rush styled game. The source elaborates that the console version of this new game will be sticking with the recent formula seen in Sonic Unleashed (Daytime), Sonic Colours and Sonic Generations where gameplay switches between full 3D movement and 2D side-scrolling sections. Multiple routes through a stage will return, but this time you will have an incentive to play through them all. Each route in a stage will lead to one of two or three exits at the end that will each take you to a different stage. You will always end up at the same final stage, though. Our source says final stage count hasn’t been decided, but the developers are trying for a least 20 diferent stages, not including boss battles. Character wise, our source says you will begin the game with Sonic and unlock other characters to play as by completing stages. It’s been made clear that this doesn’t mean 20+ characters are available, though. “For example, you might unlock Knuckles in any one of three stages. Sometimes, if you already have a character that would be unlocked first, a different one may be unlocked. Altogether we’re looking at about 10 different characters to play with, and no, Sonic isn’t getting any new friends. All of the playable characters will be existing Sonic characters.” Our source goes on to explain that each character will have their own skills to help them progress in stages easier where others will have more difficulty or simply cannot ala Sonic 3 & Knuckles and the Sonic Advance series. One example described involves Sonic and Shadow not being able to make it up a wall, while Tails can easily fly up there or Knuckles can climb, allowing them access to an exit Sonic and Shadow can’t reach. Despite that, our source assures us that stages can be replayed with any character of your choice, though. Moving on to the 3DS version, the source says it will be “similar in idea, but smaller in scope”. The developers are trying to fit all of the characters into the game, but it will feature far fewer stages. There will still be many paths through stages, but at this point, the source says it looks like every stage will only ever branch off into 2 stages. Our source ends by telling us “All in all, the games look very promising at this point” and assures us that SEGA has their best developers working on the games and that they have been in the works since before Sonic Generations. The game should be out in stores this Fall/Autumn, or at the latest, Winter. Another source corroborates the Fall schedule and expects the game to be released around September. We have verified our sources as best as we can, but until official confirmation is made by SEGA, we’re marking this rumour for now. 4. im not surprised that Persona 4 won it's a solid game and it was out longer then TTT2 so more people knew about it
  5. Tekken games never really sold that well TTT2 however did sell a good amount because people loved TTT1, and the fighter game gene is slowing up but this has happen before which it out right died for a few years remember when Sf4 first came out? when was the last fighting game before it's release. There wasn't any because even hardcore fighting games players felt there were to many fighting games out. also Persona 4 won fighting game of the year.not TTT2
  6. Good news! Namco-Bandai's insanely cool 3DS crossover title, Project X Zone, is indeed leaving Japan and coming Stateside this summer! As many of you know, it's a strategy RPG featuring a massive assortment of characters pulled from 29 classic franchises, including Darkstalkers, Street Fighter, Mega Man and more! Capcom, Sega and Namco fans will obviously have a lot of references to chew on, but SRPG fans should also get a kick out of all the over-the-top crossover attacks and gorgeous battlegrounds. As someone who adores well-animated sprites and SRPGs, this one's been on my radar since it landed in Japan late last year. Very happy to see it come over!
  7. hmm I had alot I was posting like crazy back then lol
  8. I voted for special *any pokemon from kanto* do I have to name one? Also are you going to make your own custom sprites?
  9. UMvc3 is better then MVC2 and I'll go as far as to say Mvc1, it's a less broken game then the past versions Third Strike was an ok but not on the level of SF4 that is the most balanced SF to come out in a long time On the topic of Mass Effect the only real time they had disk locked stuff was for ME3, Capcom has been doing stuff like this for a while but it was to the extreme till SFxT dropped. Shit the first week that Sfxt dropped I went to my local tournament and got to play all the dlc characters right then.
  10. It was big deal because the character could be played 100% no problem they didn't need to add any fixes because the dlc character were done on disk you just needed a change/add or code for them to be played
  11. MvC2 used sprites from other 2d style games which is why they were able to have such a big cast of characters MvC3 however didn't have alot of characters that were in the style of MvC3 the only other game like it was TvC. Also I was a bit salty that Umvc3 came out so quickly but it fixed alot of problems with the first Mvc3 (No spectator mode, DHC glitches, Very damage output, No X factor in the air and more. Street Fighter X Tekken isn't a bad name also Tekken X Street Fighter isn't out yet. Lack of Megaman sucks but we did get the Free Megaman X Street Fighter game which got alot of support from fans that Capcom servers couldn't handle it. And Bad box art Megaman was just a joke because it something different then what Megaman fans are use to seeing. I've had no problems with RE6 I thought the game was fun as hell and people need to get off that it's not Re1,2,3 if you want that style go play them, Leon story is the closet your going to get to classic RE so you need to deal with it.
  12. It's the final hidden boss, to unlock it get a perfect on all 8 bosses
  13. I think ill just download all of mugen china rips and sort it out after
  14. Game is out now get it at Capcom unity website note downloads are taking a bit longer because of heavy amount of user downloading
  15. I'd like to help do I need to sign up for mugen China to download there stuff? also I have alot of sprites on my HD that are pre-ripped and are .pcx for mugen.
  16. Capcom-Unity put together a video that divulges details on how Street Fighter X Mega Man came into existence and the process of getting the game developed. Featured here are interviews with Svensson, Brelston and Seo Zong Hui that cover various information about the free Street Fighter and Mega Man cross over. The guys at Capcom showcase a ton of footage of the game including new footage of Vega's boss battle and a bit of the fight against Urien. According to Brelston and Hui, Street Fighter X Mega Man will have a secret boss and we can expect a bit of a surprise at the end of the game.
  17. No money to take because it's FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
  18. As the Street Fighter anniversary ends and Mega Man's begins, we are proud to reveal Street Fighter X Mega Man, a free PC download coming on December 17th. This 8-bit-style crossover title stars the Blue Bomber and a slew of retro-ized SF mainstays acting as stand-in Robot Masters; beat them, acquire their powers and tackle the next amazingly re-imagined boss. Again, yes, this is a free game, delivered via Capcom Unity's Mega Man brand page. Simply come back on 12/17 and get the whole thing on the house. As a real blend of two iconic franchises, it's an amazing way to send SF25 off in style, and kick off MM25 with a bang. Best of all, this is a true collaboration between Capcom and its fans. Singapore superfan Seow Zong Hui (maybe you've seen his Dhalsim skills?) approached our own Christian Svensson back at EVO 2012 with the skeleton of SFxMM running on a laptop. Seeing the potential and serendipitous opportunity, Sven shared it with GregaMan and I a week later. We evaluated (aka played to death) it and said uh yeah, this is pretty damn cool. Then it all started coming together. Further details will come out via interviews and whatnot, but the big takeaway is that we can ring in the 25th anniversary of one of gaming's most beloved characters with high spirits. I'm kind of beside myself, having been involved with daily build tests and feedback to Zong Hui (who was of course amazing the whole way through). It really is a dream come true for me, as a lifelong Mega-fan. I've literally dreamed of this day :) We also have an incredible 8-bit soundtrack from A_Rival, who's expertly blended SF and MM tunes to create a truly unique body of work. Flash Man mixed with Ryu? Snake Man mixed with Dhalsim? Too cool. This mashup style is also present in the boss battles - if you know how Blanka and Rose behave in SFIV, you'll have an idea how to approach them in SFxMM. So yeah. We'll stream the game next week and reveal a bit more later on, but as of 12/17 you can head to the brand page and download at your leisure. As for more MM25 news... stay tuned. I've been running those meetings all year and we have stuff to share that day and through 2013. We know it's been a hard year for Mega Man fans, but I hope this proves our love and intent to the series, and that we have not heard the last of the little guy.
  19. So I got to play the Demo and I can honestly say I'm am going to pick up this game. Gameplay - For me felt like an improved version of the DMC games already style like system, Combos are solid and going from the different weapons is smooth most of the time (if your not charging your moves). Graphics - Now I think because of the directions this game is moving for it's not as gothic as older DMC games, however I think it fit this game alot more then if it toke the gothic turn for the environment. Now lets talk about Dantes look, now when I first saw Dante he looked like an Skinny Druggy which made me sad the making have improved his look and he looks like he has more life and not a druggy lol. Dialogue - Now during the normal mission I had no problem with the dialogue, however I felt the dialogue during the boss fight was a bit too over the top with the F bombs and What one would do to the others body stuff like that. It just felt out of place for a dmc game and Dante saying F you to the boss like 5 times wasn't Dante like. I think thats all I have to say right now but I am going to pick up the game in time because I liked the gameplay so much. oh one last thing the Demo was too easy lol
  20. so we can make pals the normal way now?
  21. Lighter themes don't hurt my eye I just don't like how most of them look lol
  22. as long as I have a dark theme im fine lol
