Arena Trial 001 5T: ...!! Watch out!! The sudden suicide bombard attack Kirimuri done caught him off guard. Because of the distance, 5T wasn't exactly caught in a powerful blast, but the impulse threw him away. He landed near the car, a little far from the rest of the group. 5T: (That was something. Had I been more close, I-) Suddenly, a blue shot grazed his head. He went down and peeked back: LightFlare was now shooting at them, taking advantage of the confusion. He couldn't simply move back and use a Program to defend them, he had to attack. 5T: Missiles are ready, Pod? 5T's Pod: Affirmative. Target is Unit LightFlare. Awaiting orders. 5T: (You wanted to see an "android" fights, don't you? Well then, I'll be pleased to show you!) Fire. Under 5T's orders, the Pod opened its hatch and shot 8 missiles upwards. They curved into an arch and went towards Light's position. The idea wasn't to hit him. 13P: (Missiles? Then, that means-) 13P: Ryuko, give us another blast encore and show him what your dragon's made of! Back at the area, Agni could hear the explosions. The announced eliminations made it clear: their loss could be more certain than what they had thought. Agni: (This definitely will make them think in the next round. If only Light and Kirimuri are the ones remaining, this is going to be troublesome. I have to think on a way, but how?) Spectators: Anna Ametrine, Lucina, Melina and Zaveid Lucina: Did Sir Kirimuri just blew himself up? What sort of objective he's trying to accomplish with a sacrificial attack like that? Anna: I have no idea, sadly. However, I fear that was the opening Mr. Light needed to hit them. Lucina: I hope they manage to notice the blasts... As they kept watching, steps could be heard from the stairs. Soon, a Mech-Hisui came with Melina and Zaveid. Anna: Princess Melina and... huh? Who are you? Melina: "Who are you?" Who are you asking this to? To the Mech-Hisui? Anna: No, you see, there is a man behind you. Zaveid: (She can see me? Wait, she's an angel. I suppose she can.) Melina: There is no one behind me, I came here alone. Lucina: She is indeed correct. There's no one behind her. Anna: B-But I can definitely see a man behind her. Arena Trial 001 13P: Whoa, what in the- His plan was foiled and he had to break his rush since Light's rapid blasts blocked his path. Even if he jumped higher, that would give momentum to Light attack him with a powerful blast. 5T had no choice; he jumped towards the wall where Ryuko was standing and grabbed its tip with only three fingers, almost falling back into the water. He climbed it and there he stood. 13P: That was close as heck! Damn, we won't reach the flank... Yui's wind completely dispelled the smoke and Kirimuri was left in the open. He was still enveloped in smoke himself, maybe to help with his evasion. However, 5T knew how to counterattack. 5T: Let's see how you'll like to stay at one place. Pod!! 5T's Pod: Affirmative. Releasing gravitational field placement. Instead of his incessant shooting, the Pod released a sphere that created a non-damaging blast a little away from Kirimuri. Once touching the ground, the sphere's blast expanded a little and began to pull everything near it towards the blast radius. 5T: We don't have much time left and I'm not done yet. Shoot at him! After the blast release, the Pod returned to shoot quickly at Kirimuri, in case Gravity would fail. Spectators: Anna Ametrine and Lucina From the outside, both were really concentrated on how it went, arguing their own opinions about the match. Lucina: The defense team is falling quickly than I would expect. Whatever plan the offense have, it's working. Anna: The most calculative, tactical members are on the Offense. Also, I could notice that the Defense decided not to follow any plan and just attack as usual. Lucina: The fact that Sir LightFlare eliminated Sir Ludger is proof of how they decided on strategy at the last hour possible. Sir Rokurou also had foiled whatever plan Miss Etomo had, which led to their fall as well. Lucina: A tactician is important. Someone who knows the pros and cons of every member, being able to see who should go on where, aiming on who... that is something I have learned in my world. Anna: I see... I wonder why Agni has not planned anything... he does not usually fight without a strategy first. Melina and Zaveid Location: The Warrior's Hangout - Lobby Melina: Why, much appreciated. Arena Trial 001 13P did a quick evasive manuever before getting hit by the electricity and quickly climbed the wall he was near. His Pod, however, didn't reach the same conclusion. Even if the machine floated, the electrical current managed to affect and leave it immobilized. It would took a long time to recharge, so the Programs wouldn't be useful 13P: (Damnit, the Pod got jammed! Oh well, I never used that thing much. Now I just got to reach a safe zone!) Considering the layout, jumping to the container would be a good option. However, he was at the extremity near to it, without a way to get impulse on a run. His only choice was to jump towards the entrance to one of their flanks and then rejoin Ryuko and the others through a point where the water wasn't reaching. 13P: Alright, here goes nothing! *starts running* Meanwhile, the other team had to deal with a surprise attack coming from Kirimuri. Though Hinamori was going to deal with it, 5T wanted to aid her, but Rokurou was making it difficult. Rokurou: You gonna guard all day or you'll fight back?! 5T: *blocks slash* Urgh, you maniac... back off! Rokurou: Not happening! 5T: Tch... Pod!! At his orders, the machine floated above his head, opened itself and began shooting. Rokurou had to back off, but stood in a good range to be a target unmissable. Rokurou: Hey, that's definitely cheat- 5T: Target acquired. Range at 87% of hit. Fire. The Pod shot a powerful laser at Rokurou. Because of the time-space momentum, all he could do was try to defend it, only to be blown away towards the car. The impact sent Rokurou flying and then back to the ground. He tried to get up, but wasn't able to. The defensive ability reducing was something that costed him a lot. 5T: (Muscle-brained idiot... also, I guess that coward went back to his corner.) 5T: *goes to Hinamori* Hinamori, how we're taking him out? Doubt that cornering him will work, since the cornered has more will to fight. Melina and Zaveid Location: The Warrior's Hangout - Lobby BGM: Beautiful Lie (Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony) Melina entered the place, only to see the lobby completely empty. She wondered if they had already left to do something. Melina: Is it possible that they have already left? Hmm, I suppose I should ask. Zaveid: So, this is where the kid is? Hmm, wonder what is this place, though... Zaveid couldn't be seen or heard by a normal person. Only some beings, namely spirits, divine beings and other creatures could see him. This was useful, since he never had to be worried about being detected by a machine or a normal human. Melina was included among the people who couldn't see him, even though she had powers and fought divine beings at her homeworld. Not knowing that he was following her, she decided to ask a Mech-Hisui about the others. Melina: Excuse me, miss Mech-Hisui, but do you know where everybody is?

Arena Trial 001 BGM: That Person's Name is/He of the Name (Bravely Default: Flying Fairy) 13P's Pod: Affirmative. Locking on and engaging. Under Joyce's orders, the Pod began to shoot right at LightFlare, in order to throw him off and cancel his focus. 13P, behind the wall, noticed that Ryuko and Ludger began to fight. He managed to see Joyce and Light as well, but saw no sign of Etomo and Rokurou. 13P: (Not here? If that's the case, then...!!) While the whole commotion began happening in the middle area, 5T kept following Hinamori and the others. He expected to encounter some trouble... and right he was. 5T: ... Guess we're not getting in by their backs anymore! Prepare for a fight! *draws sword* Rokurou: Got you on my sights, prey!! Drawing his dual swords, Rokurou leaped and tried to strike 5T with an overhead slash, but the android evaded it backwards. Rokurou: Trying to get past? I think you won't! I'm gonna have fun dismantling you whole! 5T: (This is something else. He's fighting like he means to kill. So that's how Rokurou fights, I wonder...) 5T: (Fine then. I'll just open a path through that head of yours! You three have to be careful with Etomo!) In the area with the maid, Agni could already hear blasts coming from the vicinity up ahead. He decided to hide behind another crevice, in order to entrap whoever came here as well. Even if only Emilia and Hugh had planned this, the glimpse he got made it understandable for him what they wished to do.

Offense Team: 13P and 5T 13P, after listening, nodded and equipped his bracers for combat. 13P: I'm going after Ryuko. Joyce, you and Penelope stay here as a surprise assault. I'll leave my Pod behind to help. 13P's Pod: Awaiting orders. 13P: Pod, I'm sharing your control with Joyce. You're to obey her commands as if it was me, got it? 13P's Pod: Affirmative. Proposal: Unit 13P shall not accelerate immediately in pursuit of Ryoko. Stand hidden and await for right time to move. 13P: Proposal accepted. OK, I'm heading in. 13P dashed quickly to a section near to the large wall dividing his position from the container. He stood on standby, awaiting the other team's further movement so that he could go and stay close to Ryoko before she gets engaged alone. 5T: I think Agni wouldn't be there since that leaves one flank completely open for us to rush in and- 5T: (Hold it... the area inside is containing the objective. Leaving a flank open wouldn't be a problem if they decided to cover it with a trap. One of us can blindly invade their base, believing it to be safe and be attacked at will. After all, I don't notice the brains in the open field. I'm positive it's going to be surprising once we reach their area...) Before 5T could think about it a little more, he heard a gunshot. Looking upwards, a rain of bullets fell on the faucet. If Agni were to be on the target defense area, that must mean Ludger was the one dispatched to the front. 5T: That's going to cause a fog-like environment. We have to be careful. Defense Team: Agni Artwaltz and Rokurou Rangetsu Rokurou: Roger that, moving out after some androids! Rokurou moved out and followed Etomo to the east, hoping to find 5T on the way. Meanwhile, Agni saw that the maid was on the open, while Emilia and Hugh weren't there. Agni: (What? Where did they go? Wait, the crevices...) Agni: (Oho, I see... This is their goal. Arena Trial 001 BGM: Riders of the Light still playing Offense Team: 5T and 13P At the left flank, as they went for the open area, 13P hid behind a wall and gave a glance. He saw that part of the other team has arrived. 13P: Seems like only Etomo, Ludger, Light and Rokurou came out. The other 4 are hiding with the Mech-Hisui somewhere. 13P: What should we do? Head-on straight and pummel them? Meanwhile, 5T also hid behind a wall in the right flank, also managing to see the group. Through his vision, he could see a faint trace of smoke in the distance. 5T: Wonderful, Kirimuri already planned a trap. Their left flank is completely unnacessible right now. Once the deployment was ordered, 13P followed Joyce and Ryuko to the left flank. 5T went with Yui and Hinamori to the right, while giving them a grasp of what he planned with this. 5T: In normal cases, we eliminate the front line and then we reach the back. My idea is for us to do the inverse: get the rear done first, give a moment of panic and attack the remaining ones. Though, like you said, we have to be careful about this. The best shot is to invade the inside and take their area. By cutting all means of retreat, defeating them gets more viable. I'm counting with a strong resistance inside it, though, so we'll have to be ready. Defense Team: Agni Artwaltz and Rokurou Rangetsu Rokurou: Alright, time to start this brawl! Rokurou dashed away with Light, Ludger and Etomo. Agni sighed while looking at Kirimuri. Agni: If you're covering the right, leave the left to me. I'll block all ways of passing through. He went towards the left flank and stood there, hiding behind the wall. He would only go in an emergency.

Location: Arena Trial Defense Team: Agni Artwaltz and Rokurou Rangetsu BGM: Assailant still playing Rokurou: So we're heading without a plan? Got it then. Agni: Wait, don't rush it yet. I know we have to reach the room, but going ahead without a plan will make us lose a round. Rokurou: So what do you want to do anyway? Agni: Hmm... I can tell their team has a good amount of powerhouses. Ryuko, Penelope and 13P are definitely like you and Light, heading in battle without thinking too much. Agni: But the moment you leave yourself open, the smart ones will bite you before you can even do anything. Remember, Hinamori and 5T are on that team and their minds are strategically ready for any sort of situation. Rokurou: But that's what makes the fight exciting! Things like tactics are for shogi or games like that. Convincing them of what they should do or not wouldn't be that possible. Despite he knew they could hold their ground, going without a plan was too risky. Even so, Agni wasn't going to speak anything, since Hugh had already said what he wanted to hear. Still, he needed to confirm everyone was in accord. Agni: Emilia, you're free to speak what you wish. If not, then we should get going. Agni: (I, like Kirimuri, am not taking risks. In the moment I need to strike, I will. Hidden standby's going to be my position for most of it) Offense Team: 5T and 13P BGM: Assailant still playing Seeing Hinamori's first division, 13P clenched and cracked his fists. 5T, however, began to quickly think about the situation. 13P: Alright, I'm ready to roll! Waiting for the moment to deploy! 5T: Hmm... I have an idea. Listen up. 13P: OK, 5T. 5T: Their team might have a good number of people, but we can get an advantage over them. LightFlare, Rokurou, Etomo, Emilia and Hugh are close fighters, Ludger and Kirimuri can mix their attacks while Agni is entirely focused on long range. This might be only speculation, but we can already guess who's going in the frontline and who's going to stay predominantly at the back. 13P: So you're saying that we have five on the front, two balanced and one long-range, right? 5T: Keep in mind that half of them have a high intellect for tactics. Those being Emilia, Kirimuri, Agni and Ludger. Considering the situation, I devised a initial plan for this. 13P: (Oh, 5T's getting logical. I like his plans, let's see what he has in store.) 5T: Ryoko, 13P and Joyce, you can take care of Etomo, LightFlare and Rokurou. Penelope, since you're definitely the most accostumed of us, we'll leave Emilia to you. Byakuya, you're in charge of surprising Kirimuri before he has a chance of surprising us. Hinamori, you'll stop Ludger since I have a feeling he's a problem that most of us can't exactly handle while I have a feeling you'll be able to. You can leave Hugh to me while you'll be targeting Agni, Yui. 5T: At least that's how I see things. Someone has an opinion to share? 13P: I, for one, have no objections! I'm itching for a fight against Light or Rokurou! Spectators: Anna Ametrine and Lucina Even though it has not begun, Anna was already a little nervous about things. She looked at the teams, trying to understand the layout while thinking about the possibilities. Suddenly, steps could be heard. Lucina: Excuse me. Anna: Ah, you are Princess Lucina, correct? BGM: Assailant (Melty Blood: Act Cadenza) Agni: This bracelet in my hand is my weapon, the Arsenal. Through it I can call upon guns to help me and attack. I can use magic through my Paradigms. In short, I'm pretty much balanced, though I cover long range better than close. 13P: Like some of us here, I use my fists and kicks to fight, with my Pod covering long range. I don't make much use of it though, so I won't shoot a lot. However, don't expect me to back off from close combat. I'm ready to deliver very strong blows, even though I don't have any sorta magical schtick. 5T: Unlike 13P, I use a sword as my weapon. I can fight physically too, but I tend to attack on the distance with my Pod. I may have a lack of power, but my speed makes it up for it. That's all you need to know about me. Rokurou: I fight with my trusty dual blades. The third one here has an specific use, but I'll leave that as a surprise. I'll use all the artes from the Rangetsu style to defeat you, so be ready for nice, fierce brawl against me. Agni: That's for our ability rundown, I guess. Someone else needs to do it?

It doesn't do anything other than protecting her from danger. 5T: Wow... unusual. I'll keep record of that. Agni: Anyway, I'm not that hungry either, so I'll just wait here. 5T: We're also not going upstairs for obvious reasons. If I knew he was following us, I- Seraph: Agni wouldn't have let you fight him. He plays nice around him, while going violent against us. Magnum: For how long he'll keep being so obsessed like that? Doesn't he know when to quit?! Seraph: I doubt he does. I've warned Agni for him to not go walking alone, even in Candor. I hope that he listened to the advice without mentally questioning it. Though that's pretty strange, since we weren't made to do that. Rokurou: Oh, that's right. You two aren't human. You two are losing many things that humans do. Suddenly, Rokurou's belly let out a somewhat loud growl. Rokurou: Speaking of good things, when's breakfast? I can't fight if I'm hungry. Soon, he saw that one of them had a red jewel encased on its "right eye". Lucent: The puppets fall with their master... Another creature tried to punch him but he jumped on its arm and climbed it quickly. Soon, yet another one tried to fist him, but it ended up hitting the other. Lucent jumped and aimed at the jeweled giant. Lucent: Fractura. Five stakes were generated and shot towards the eye of the stone giant. Upon hitting the jewel, they exploded into dark energy, breaking the jewel and consequently, the monster. The other giants all crumbled as well while Lucent landed back on the ground. Soon, a voice began to echo. You, who cleared the first trial... do you wish to obtain the treasure that belongs to me? If so, you shall fall!
