  1. You know that this is a direct location from Twin Peaks, yes?
  2. That still seems incredibly rude to the author, but okay.
  3. "from: The Queen of Duellist Gaiden alpha+"
  4. I don't like the new sound replacing the hits on his beatdown super. Does anyone know what's with that? It totally lacks impact now.
  5. There's a bit of a reason for that. The original game only had two buttons.
  6. This isn't CyberWarren, that was a custom edit by Lord Sinistro. This is normal Warren as he was originally in Deadly Moves.
  7. Approve. Most people don't because his characters are broken, but they also don't realize the Asura series was very broken from the start, so it's not necessarily his fault.
  8. This is indeed Bola, just renamed, apparently.
  9. I don't see anything wrong with it. Kuma and Mr. Bear are both bears and are pretty interchangeable because of it, what's there to really change?
  10. Which is 'Joden', actually. That's how it was written in the bootleg game he came from, Top Fighter 2000.
  11. Nope. Hence "Joker_SF", meaning Joker_SuperFighter. He's been around since 1993. http://fenixware.net/fab/fab_charMain.asp?id=1267&order=0 No reason to pass him off though. He's still a very interesting character.
  12. [preview] [download] https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=a41426a5d3421fa8 [comments] I actually grew up on Super Fighter, so this was a pleasant surprise to me. It's a very interesting arrangement to say the least, however. For whatever reason, this author decided to give him a bunch of crazy-sounding voice clips. I eventually found out this was Jack Lupino of Max Payne, dubbed by none other than Joji Nakata (Wesker, Sol Bad-Guy, Nero Chaos, etc). His level 3 as pictured even references the whole scene with Jack conjuring up spirits and ending the original line with 'BLOOD TO YOU ALL!', but here he ends it with that line...and slashes himself, splattering blood all over his opponent. He also has a Matrix-style slowdown level 2, which is interesting to experiment with by itself. Overall I definitely recommend it. He plays pretty much like a Street Fighter 2 character (what with Super Fighter being pretty much SF2 in the first place) but with very strange yet amusing supers. If you want a surreal arrangement of an obscure DOS fighting game character, I really suggest getting this. I had to post a thread for him here because nobody else seems to really notice his release, which is sad.
  13. It isn't. She's from Ultra Vortek which featured rather small sprites which are upscaled here. So...I guess it sorta is actually.
  14. Have all the sprites been completed by now? I remember this character having undetailed sprites for a lot of his animations, which is honestly excusable seeing how the author is editing Arc-Sys sprites. They look really good too.
  15. Well...I didn't upload anything, these are all just reports if that's what you mean.
  16. ....pardon? Do you mean the screenshot? Because I don't know what else to show that's significant enough for a screenshot at least.
  17. Yes but that's kind of unfair to a lot of these characters that are actually well coded. That and regular things like Death-Force weren't announced or anything. I saw an April Fool's edit of Shin Akuma that was just a name and palette swap so I can see why those get ignored, but not these.
  18. Thank you. I've been signed up for a while in search for a place to settle and this seemed fine, but I think I found a way to contribute to it, hence all of these releases that seem to have been missed.
  19. [Download] http://www.melv.thedailypos.org/mainsite/smoothsilksamples.html [Comments] A pretty weird edit of Warmachine. His voice sounds like a guy yelling through a phone and his moveset's completely different, and sports several rap songs during his supers. As silly as he might be, he seems pretty solid gameplay wise. I'd recommend trying him out.
  20. [Download] http://www.melv.thedailypos.org/mainsite/smoothsilksamples.html [Comments] April Fool's joke. Spoilers below: He seems to morph into a whole bunch of other characters during every single attack. He's also highly broken and his actual name is too long to fit on my screenshot, which is 'Street Fighter Is Boring You Idiots'. I also can't really say whether or not this is worth downloading since the author seems to think it's way too nonsensical to pay attention to, but I guess it's worth a download if you want something goofy. I also noticed his AI is pretty dumb and spams only a select handful of moves.
  21. [Download] http://justnopoint.com/lbends/adamlexus/ [Comments] A pretty bizarre edit of an old Nostalgia Critic creation. His voice is now replaced by this weird-sounding guy who screams a lot, he has achievements (I think the one in the shot is because Sub-Zero has over 9 stocks of power? Not sure.), and he's incredibly irritating to fight against. Not sure what to say about it, but he has some interesting things about him I suppose.
  22. [Download] http://caddie.smeenet.org/chars/superman.rar [Comments] April Fool's joke, but really doesn't deserve to be called that. From what I've heard from a few friends that tested him out, he's accurate to the NES Superman game and seems really well coded. The creator undoubtedly put a lot of effort into this, so I'd recommend trying him out, it's interesting at the very least.
