  1. That looks really good. Upon a quick inspection, the subtle hue of that brighter blue on his shoulder looks slightly rough. Not bad. Here's a Batsu I made a while back. He's gonna be part of a massive obscurity pack I plan on eventually putting out.
  2. Why thank you good sir. I'm actually working on a bunch of things now that are actually quite... different and awesome. Expect some more stuff soon. I am also now a Global Moderator at Guild, so I spend a majority of my net time there. I will still post releases here. Expect something in the near future and plenty more after that.
  3. I just PMed you on guild. It's your select screen, VS Screen and Victory Screen's scaling modifier. It should be set to .5 and not 1. Also, remember that all of my portraits work for any screenpack that supports standard formatting.
  4. Heyhey, thanks for the comments guys. I'm very glad that you will get some solid usage out of them. Come to think of it, seeing all of these screenshots together is rather badass considering all I get to view is two at a time. LOL
  5. I can't stress how happy and proud I am to share this set with the community. I've had Melty Blood as part of my Mugen roster for years but I never had matching art to properly represent those characters with killer style. What you have here is the embodiment of many early 4:30am mornings for the past two months with The Dark Knight Rises playing in the background, in the dark for gamma purposes. Every single inch of each portrait you have at your fingertips is the result of anywhere from 6 to 12 hours a piece to ensure definitive quality using only 256 colors. Some portraits were a little simpler to get right, like Aoko's flowing reds and Neco Arc's bold colors. Others, like all three of Akiha's variant's hair, and Roa's white gradients and White Len's subtle blues and whites were a fucking bitch to edit. But I pulled through to deliver you exceptional quality work that Melty Blood rightfully deserves. This pack of 30 portraits includes: Akiha Seifuku Akiha Tohno Akiha Vermillion Aoko Aozaki Archetype Earth Arcueid Brunestud Ciel Dust of Osiris Hisui Kouma Kishima Kohaku Len Mech Hisui Michael Roa Valdamjong Miyako Arima Neco Arc Neco Arc Chaos Nrvnqsr Chaos/Nero Powered Ciel Red Arcueid Riesbyfe Stridberg Ryougi Shiki Satsuki Yumiduka Shiki Nanaya Shiki Tonho (2 Versions: With and without Glasses!!) Sion Atlasia Sion Tatari Wallachia White Len And of course, here are some screenshots of what you're getting: A huge thanks goes out to the following Guild members as they were helpful in making this pack possible: Xan and Pal for pointing out proper art for Shiki Nanaya and Shiki Tonho. SXVector for sharing his Melty Blood system rips. If it wasn't for him, these portraits would not have been a possibility. Cybaster, as always, for hosting me. Visit Cybaster's Hosted Section to snag them!! http://network.mugenguild.com/cybaster The file weighs in at 440kbs Expect plenty more portrait screenshots and releases very soon. As always, Constructive Criticism and Feedback are welcome!! I sincerely hope you guys get some good usage out of these portraits. Enjoy everyone!!
  6. Portrait work goes strong. Here's two more additions: Ryu and Ken by Kaz in his MvC style.
  7. Getting a lot of work done portrait wise. Here's Decapre and Batsu. Decapre looks fucking badass!!
  8. Not bad!! He looks pretty solid. I say add in some more variety in his shading/contrast. He looks slightly drab/flat in some of his colors. Overall, this is very cool though. I like.
  9. Thanks once again everyone!! I highly appreciate the cred that I most certainly earned. Believe me, as much as I love high quality work/releases, sometimes the price to achieve that quality is very stressful and sometimes nerve wracking. And now that you guys mention it, it is indeed very welcoming here and I automatically feel at home. I must say that the chatroom is especially awesome. It also helps that I sit in front of a workstation all day, so I can log in and check in frequently.
  10. Omega Tom Hanks and Dee Bee Kaw will always be my top two. The Death Star gets honorable mention.
  11. Awesome. I highly appreciate the warm welcome guys!! You all rock!!
  12. Yea!! A sacrifice!! TEAR HIS HEART OUT!! Wait.... what!?
  13. Hey, thanks for the great welcome guys. I've been browsing around here and I like it a lot.
  14. Naaaaaaaaaaah.... I wouldn't want to stay at only one spot. What's the fun in that!? Expect plenty more releases soon. I've had a rock solid and regimented work ethic that isn't fading anytime soon; there are still 100's of portraits to be made. And no, I'm not kidding. Expect Melty Blood followed by Garou: Mark of the Wolves. And more retro art like what you see above to follow. Lets just say that I'm going all in with SNK for the forseeable future.
  15. Hey guys. Here's my first MFFA Screenshots section post. I give you a small sampling of what I've been working on and what will be released within the week. Those who are familiar with Guild will have already seen these. Say hello to definitive Melty Blood Portraits. Expect a guaranteed release by Halloween at the absolute latest.
  16. Hey guys!! It's a pleasure to be here. I usually post all of my stuff at Mugenguild. As of recent, I've signed up at other communities as well to change things up a little. So here I am to say hello and also mention that I'll also be posting here too. It's great to see Mugen thriving and popular. Let's keep that trend going shall we?? Lastly, you guys have been doing a great job on keeping collections up to date. I've downloaded a lot of stuff from here lately. Keep up the great work.
  17. Hey, thanks guys!! My pleasure for sure!! While I am a heavy hitter at Guild, I thought it would be great to expand my horizons and hit up other forums as well. It's awesome to be here.
  18. The Characters are really archaic and kinda boring. Their move sets and sprite sheets are overly simplistic. And quite honestly, they don't even play very well while compared to today's standards (Billy Kane doesn't even jump!!). And in a way, all of that is kind of... endearing. Which is what makes them fun to have in your roster, and is the very reason why I decided to make a full portrait set for Fatal Fury. As in the original Fatal Fury. This release was really more of a test to see how old, dated artwork converts under strict 256 coloring methods. And as you can see with the screenshots provided below, results are visually pleasing and give 32bits a literal run for their money. Yup, these portraits are only 256 colors and 8bits!! With artwork that is older and simplistic with a rougher style, indexing does not result in huge losses of clarity that requires a ton of time to clean up. The hardest thing to get right, besides some small corrections here and there, was making sure edging was clean and smooth, along with making sure those small face portraits also looked presentable as well. While not shown in screenshots, I did include 25x25 portraits to go along with them if you should want to update those for your Mugen's Select Screen/Lifebars. While I was working on both of Street Fighter II's portrait sets, I became a little fried with spending so much time on them. So a quick release on a completely different art set (These took no longer than a week and a half to fully complete) helped improve my morale and got the ball rolling pretty quickly. Here are a few screenshots of what is included with this Retro Fatal Fury set: Here we have Michael Max and Richard Myer Here's Terry Bogard and Tung Fu Rue Here's Geese Howard and Raiden... who looks extremely creepy... Lastly, here's Andy Bogard and Hwa Jai You could say that I am on an old school streak here. I think this art is fantastic and is rarely seen in Mugen these days; everything is now about flashiness, over-saturation of color and filters out the yin-yang. I love to go against the grain and present the community with more obscure, lesser known stuff that hasn't been done before. I also have plenty of more retro art in store, so expect plenty of releases soon. I'd love to thank Rin&Bat for his obscure set of Fatal Fury Characters, which is what this portrait pack is based off of and used for in my roster. And Cybaster, of course, for hosting me. As one of his bitches. As always, check out Cybaster's Hosted Section to snag these. http://network.mugenguild.com/cybaster
