  1. I'm sorry, I'm surprised I didn't write this in the instructions. You have to edit data/ikegen/select.def, not data/select.def. They also have to be formatted in a special way there, but that's explained in the (correct) select.def. As for how you choose them, you use up/down to select category and left/right to select a character in that category.

  3. This would mean the character is crashing IKEMEN, not my screenpack. Gojo's cns file, line 4064, something is wrong with it that crashes IKEMEN.
  4. I'm not sure why a screenpack would cause this error... Does it give an error message when it crashes? That's admittedly something I hadn't tested. I don't have enough bonus games to make it scroll and don't think I have any menu scrolling elsewhere in the screenpack. I'll need to experiment with this later but it'll probably be some time before I do, sorry.

  6. Afraid not. I made this screenpack 8 years ago and long lost the files I used to make it. If you don't mind upgrading to IKEMEN Go, you can use the IKEMEN version linked in the main post. If you check the replies I've uploaded template files for that one. But as for the MUGEN version, it is no longer supported.
  7. HM's Akatsuki listed under En-Eins is the exact same character as the HM Akatsuki listed under Akatsuki Blitzkampf. It's the AB version not the EEP version.

As most of you probably already know, r/MUGEN is owned by MUGEN Archive and as such bans people for the same frivolous reasons as that site, blocks all discussion of other MUGEN communities, and has all links in the sidebar point to MUGEN Archive. A few years ago, a couple of people opened up the subreddit r/MUGENFreedom as an alternative subreddit people can post to. Unfortunately, the only active mod deleted their reddit account a few months ago due to the API changes (which is fair and I don't blame them). Since I felt an alternative was still important to have on the platform, I've taken ownership of r/MUGENFreedom. It's been given a fresh coat of paint, new rules, flairs, all the good stuff. If you want to join a subreddit dedicated to MUGEN, please come on by.
  11. I'd make the argument that MUGEN is fanart and fanart is not stealing, and that legality and morality are not one in the same. But Christianity also argues that you are to follow the law of the land, so I guess in that case they are. Stuff like this makes me thank the God I don't believe in that I do not practice religion.

  13. oh wow I'm kinda surprised there isnt a solid Rachel Alucard I thought she was one of the more popular blazblues EDIT: Oh I see, a good chunk of these still don't have solid ports. I guess that's to be expected from newer games. EDIT2: 7-Zip can't open Neat Unsou's Nu-13 rar for some reason? Had to convert it to zip via cloudconvert then I was able to open it. Was just weird. The sff rar opens fine.
  14. I've tried out both of oghaki's Kaedes and they seem to both be Awakened. I think one is LB1 and the other is LB2. The one I presume is LB2 defaults to a silver palette for some reason, including the big portrait. EDIT: I'm dumb, it's listed under Maede for some reason.
  15. The main reason I haven't set up stage previews is because most stages don't support them out of the box anyway and I'm not certain how standardized they are. For the work it takes for someone to set up their build with stage previews, it doesn't seem like much of an extension for them to add the stage preview themselves. That being said, I might get around to adding them myself as an optional addon. I wouldn't want to offer troubleshooting for it though, because I do think stage previews take a little more advanced knowledge to utilize and my screenpacks are mainly meant to be as plug and play as possible. (Hence why I don't do things like custom portraits.)
  16. Sort of, if you're willing to get your hands dirty. Check out my response to the review here, I share the gimp file and a tutorial on how to do this. You can't change the number of categories (without really digging in and changing the screenpack, in which case I'd look into how screenpacks are made) but with this tutorial you can replace the existing ones with whatever you like.
  17. You're missing data/common.snd. I don't know why, this comes with vanilla IKEMEN. Try installing on a fresh copy of IKEMEN 0.99. What is it exactly are you asking me to do? I don't know how I'm supposed to help without knowing what people are having issues with. If anyone has issues with this screenpack, the easiest way to reach me is on the IKEMEN discord. EDIT: I've made a video tutorial. Maybe this will help clear up those who are confused.

  19. IKEMEN has a "portraitscale=1" option that you can put in the [info] section to make character portraits stay fullsize regardless of the character's localcoord. Perhaps something similar works for stages? Although I wouldn't know if this would go in [info] or [stageinfo] I don't use stage portraits so I haven't tried this but I thought I'd offer the tip in case it helps.

  24. Warning: This Screenpack only works with IKEMEN Go version 0.99 RC2 (possibly higher) set up with a 16:9 resolution! This is not designed to work on MUGEN. Version 1.1.1 does not work correctly in IKEMEN Go 0.99 RC1 or older! If for some reason you still need to use an older version, check out the version history on AK1 instead. NEW UPDATE: August 7th 2023, check out the update section. I'm back with another screenpack for IKEMEN Go! This is my favorite to date. I felt inspired by the aesthetic of 90s Capcom fighting games, and wanted to encapsulate that in a screenpack for my personal IKEMEN compilation. I also wanted to make something new using the techniques I learned from editing Devon's CVS Black screenpack (into Infinite Legacy for IKEMEN). Thus, Infinite Legacy X was born! Features: Uses standard MUGEN portraits for ease of use. A 504 slot mode for simple use, and a 700 slot mode for more character slots and a slightly better look (imo) at the cost of simplicity. (Just as simple in version 1.1!) Supports IKEMEN features such as combo and tag toast messages, 3v3 and 4v4 battles, ratio battles, and tag battles. Comes with the option to use PotS's active tag system (had to include it as the tag toast message is part of the tag.zss). Or, if choosing to use the default IKEMEN tag, includes a fix that improves compatibility some by changing the tag states used. Previews: 4/1/2023 Patch: UPDATE 1.1.1: IKEMEN Go 0.99's second release candidate just released. It required some updates to certain files, especially regarding POTS active tag system. This is simply a compatibility update. No reason to update unless you're using IKEMEN Go 0.99 RC2 or newer. UPDATE 1.1: IKEMEN Go 0.99's first release candidate just released. Time for me to update my screenpacks. Updated for use in IKEMEN 0.99. Adds 3 new slot options (25, 185, 916). Uses IKEMEN's new cell.skip feature to no longer require BLANK slots in the select.def.
