Considering it's been a while, it's only natural that my tastes will improvechange.  SO:

Nevermind, I just needed to manually edit the sprites and give it a transparent color.  I hate it when I spend hours looking for an answer only to find out how stupidly simple it actually is.

Load the palette (actual ACT file) on the right side panel and look to see if the first index is actually transparent.  You can tell in the color editor.  If it's not, edit that color until it is and save your ACT file.

The first color is transparent.  There's still a gray background.  I did end up identifying said background color though, and made that transparent.....only for the background to reappear with no explanation.

Well, it worked for the portrait, but now I'm having issues with the actual character's sprites.  I have the first color set to being transparent, and it's transparent when looking through the sprites in Fighter Factory, but when I actually test the character, a gray background appears behind the character, apparently saying that there is no transparent background.

I have no idea how to fix this.

How does this one play compared to the other one?

I'm having an issue with transparency concerning my character's big portrait.  In Fighter Factory 3, I've set the bottom right color (the transparent color) to black, but even when I have "Show Transparency Color" unchecked, the sprite still has a black background.  I've tried plenty of things, but to no avail.  Some help would be appreciated.

I can safely say that I still use Chuchoryu's Kazuya (along with his Kuma and Ogre) because of just how finished they are.  If this is a character he's actually going to finish, then I'm quite excited, honestly.

It does qualify as a game. You play it right? so its a game. A video game at that. it just isnt officially put out on consoles and sold like the company ones. 

 

What characters and by what authors you picked? if its any way near like my legendary terry or even infinites earlier works then i can see why he said that. Thats pretty extra and out there. But if its damn tame like warasaki's creations and pots stuff for example then he needs to step his game up and stop bitchin and figure out how to beat you. Theres WAY too many mugen characters out there for him to keep losing like that. He picked an Air raid combo crazy MVC vs your slow paced JJBA and still lost just tells me he just sucks when playing against you or just suck in general probably.....you should have  a lil fun and tell him to pick pots ryu while you pick KFM. if he STILL loses then hey....your friend is just a scrub lol

Yeah, I pretty much only used Warusaki's JoJo characters.  He used Gladiacloud's Magma Dragoon and corner raped me.  He won a bunch of matches, but the second I won one, he let out his inner scrub by calling me out for using broken characters, just as you said.

Recently my friend (guess which one it is) was bitching about how Mugen has no standards and calling every character that I used 'broken' after I won against him multiple times, despite the fact that we both used perfectly balanced characters. (Ironically, he used a MvC character and I used a JJBA character, which takes much more skill than MvC characters and overall are a bit slower)  He then went on to say that Mugen doesn't qualify as a game, as games have standards.

Of course, I disagree with him (except on the Mugen not being a game thing, but because it's technically a game engine), but my question is: What about you guys?  Does Mugen have standards?  Does it qualify as a game?  Will Gaben release Episode 3?

man it's Because the gameplay of HNK PS2 is Slow as a matter of Fact that's why it is Hard to do Specials and Crap.

I beg to differ.  I've played it myself and it's one of the fastest games I've played.  (Specials are also pretty easy to do)

Strange looking stage.  I like it.  It's a cool design for a stage that I haven't really seen in Mugen.

Also, that squid just screams familiar.

So I recently talked to my friend about this whole "otherkin" thing.....and it turns out he really does think he's a dragon.  Basically I tried to talk to him about it, which ended up turning into him talking about him and his "past lives" which gets ridiculous as he talks about how he came up with shit like Old Spice and way more stupid stuff.

Again, I'm not trying to sound like a dick here, because I don't hate him or anything.  At first I found this as a little quirk of his, but now it's starting to irritate me simply because of how much he shoves it down my throat.
