So I've been trying to look for this edit of winmugen default for a while now, but no one seems to know? if not can anyone at least give me something similar or, give me a template on how to make it like this? I know majority of the chars on the screenshot, so I was thinking to re-create this roster and release it

This roster came around somewhere on YouTube many years ago around August 2007. this was also taken from the Internet Archive.

I would like to add this game is so worth it, this was one of the mugens me and my brother played nonstop and we never got tired of it. until eventually, we lost our laptop privileges. either way...

ENJOY! I recommend it because it was one of the mugens that got me into mugen along with some eve mugens and such.

According to OP 
"You might have to do some tweaking to get this running on newer systems. Windows XP or older should have no problem." but I think you should be able to run this regardless. it's been year since I've seen a mugen look like this so who knows might some tweaks to this.

Also another gem, I've found off of the Internet Archive. The description goes as follows:
"The biggest pack I've uploaded yet, with over 3000 characters included. It might not be well-made, but it's insane. Just about any character you can think of from 2004-2009 is included in here."

Considering how I remember this being on my channel at one point makes me feel happy to see it archived somewhere, considering the one on my channel from many years ago has a dead link.  I'll still provide the preview below:

Yes, you are seeing it. a very rare mugen, that was pretty big back then. for, it was considered a large collection that was a available at that time. the description for it goes like this:

MUGEN (800+ Characters; 400+ Stages), 
This mid-2000s compilation has an... interesting assortment of characters. There's a lot of characters from the Japanese MUGEN fullgame Nijikaku, a lot of questionable Latin American DBZ characters who would go on to become popular on sites like SaltyBet, a little bit of vintage 4chan even, you name it. Combined with the Kanye track blasting at you the moment you enter the select screen, this is 2006 at its prime.
While this was originally uploaded to Deadfrog Anime Torrents in October 2006, most of its exposure comes from an August 2007 Pirate Bay upload, where it was called "MUGEN (800+ Characters; 400+ Stages)"

A couple of things to keep in mind: there are really only 223 (installed) stages, not 400, and the game's set to max speed by default (which you can configure by going to the options screen from the main menu).

 people so I decided to do something similar to ☄My Winmugen Red, B&W, Gold & Mysteries Cheapie Mugen Rosters! except with my own screenpack creations why? well why not. I see this is somewhat well received as I could barely download these mugens myself anymore thus a lot of traffic is going unto these to this day.

Either way, I will be very honest with you guys. these are my personal mugen rosters, meaning these are just rosters I made on my own time. so I will admit some of these chars are flawed and will cause crashes like a lot because I have so many of those characters aka cheapies.

I finally did it, I got the balls to make my own screenpack and you know here it is! Now let me get into this because NGL I am actually proud of this..

☽ So first thing first,
this was no easy fleet. who knew screenpack making takes a lot of time consumption. but, here we are. this mugen is quite simple, it's themed around my branding.

☽ This mugen has around 4000+ slots. simple as that.
there was a version that had 9200 slots. BUT, the thing literally lagged when I replaced all the randomselects with KFM so no point in adding that much slots.

I do plan to do a slot increase in future because that is just simply my thing, I love screenpacks with a lot of slots and I honestly, feel like it wouldn't be a mikazuki themed screenpack nor fit my branding if it didn't have a lot slots considering majority of my mugen rosters I've worked on has tons of slots lmao.

☽ Either way, the mugen version is 1.0 because it is the most stable version. will I make a 1.1 version? probably not. why? it will crash, especially since in the future I plan to do a slot increase. this comes with starter characters:
- Crazy Catasophre
- Sustinasoul
- SSJG_VegetaZ2i

Description: Believe it or not this has some backstory which I will try my best to sum it up. so I originally made a custom well heavily edit of Mugen Coruscation that was made for the mugen tournament only and was going to release the screenpack / roster for it as well after the tournament. BUT, eventually you know the tournament had to be cancelled and lost the screenpack so this is technically a remake of a lost screenpack lmao. man I don't even know how I lost it but most of it is the same anyways just a bit different than before. other than that....

I know they are out there somewhere, but I think they really are lost. I have done tons of reverse image searches and it's been leading to dead ends.

100% sure these are made by someone like Camren Springer. the artstyle is very similar so im assuming this is pixel art mugen chars. the 1st girl with pink hair looks similar to Pencilmiss.

I am uploading this here because I found a version of the screenpack that isn't available along with the one that is available I decided to upload here.

The default version's select screen contains 8331 character slots, while the 640x480 version contains 11802 character slots. An alternative version of this motif called Joey Slikk Ultimate M.U.G.E.N. 1.0 Edition has some different changes to the original motif, but remains largely the same.

The 640x480 version link is no longer available but I had this version saved away in my PC somewhere so therefore decided to upload it here.

yep, that is correct.

Since the 1st one aka the low-res one is officially lost decided to make my own re-creation of it.

So a little backstory on this screenpack. this is just a re-creation first of all, so this isn't the official lost low-res screenpack of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya made by ATUSI years back. the reason why I re-made it is because since the low-res is officially LOST and can never be found I decided why not.

So, as a fan of this anime and a former searcher of the original lost one from this thread here that's where the inspiration and such started I decided to do the recreation. enjoy, I did try my best but other than that the mugen works fine and I THINK it can be converted to 1.0/1.1

I'll think of converting it soon if there is actual interest towards this recreation.

MIGHT add tons more slots but it depends. I had an idea to make three versions of this which was, 189 slots, 1000+ slots and 5000+ and more. each version will have different music and starter chars but wasn't sure. if people want to see that idea come to life, feel free to leave a comment.
