How do I run winmugen's mugen.cfg on mugen 1.0?

Question

So, I'm trying to put the Everything VS Everything screenpack in mugen 1.0, the winmugen version, and what I managed to do was go to the mugen.cfg video settings and set the win video to only video, and it worked... the problem is that the controls didn't work, I pressed the arrows and I couldn't move the menu, and I could only select something using the delete text key, and I can't solve this problem, can anyone help me?

But why would you want to do something like that? EVE Battle was patched for MUGEN 1.0 by DoomGuy II a long time ago. Plus, there's now a better patch that takes advantage of MUGEN 1.0+ features  made by jrm1007.

Note: The download link in the original post doesn't work, so use this one instead:

It's because if you look closely at andersonkenya1's videos, in mugen eve battle, the battle time is 999, and this original configuration is in the winmugen version, and in winmugen you can't use the 3v3 and 4v4 patch, and I'm sure that Anderson didn't change the battle time configuration, so I want to try to find out how he did it... besides, I like the classic versions of mugen

If that's the case you better stay with EVE Battle on WinMugen. Open mugen.cfg file and edit [Options] ; Basic Options. Set time as 999 then open your fight.def file, look for the section [Time] and change the value in framespercount for another lower value (e. g. 6). Otherwise the rounds will last too long... I hope this  can solve your issue.

i did it, i figure the problem, the problem was the players keys, They were in the wrong settings, so I copied the settings from the original Mugen and put them into Mugen Win.
