JaaShooUhh Posted May 26, 2025 Posted May 26, 2025 For people (such as myself) who don't own a computer, or just would like to even play M.U.G.E.N on the go, here is a quick and easy guide on how to play M.U.G.E.N on Android. Keep in mind, while the majority of this tutorial is aimed towards poor people (like myself) who often have cheaper and weaker phones, you can modify the settings to fit the kind of phone you have. So, let's begin. STEP 1: Download Winlator from this Github. You'll want version 10.0 (as of May 26th 2025). STEP 2: Install the program and run it. STEP 3: From here, you'll want to click on the + sign to set up a container (essentially a VM). STEP 4: You'll want to set up your container settings to match the images below. Of course, like I said, depending on how good your phone is, some settings can be changed even further to enhance the gaming experience even further. Obviously, the more memory the better, but on a cheap or weaker phone, put it at 2GB or less. Even at 1GB it runs quite smoothly. GPU name does not change much, unless you have a really powerful phone, then you can set it to like AMD Rizen or whatever. You will want to have the process affinity set exactly as shown. All but CPU0 check marked for the top one, and only the last 4 check marked for the bottom one. Otherwise, it will wreck your phone, no matter how good it is. Lastly, once you get into the program itself, you'll want to use your touchscreen to move the mouse pointer, double tap to click, tap with two fingers to right-click. When it loads up, go to Start > System Tools > Installers, and then install both the Wine Gecko and Wine Mono packages (in case you also want to run other windows programs and apps, such as Fighter Factory). After that, you're all finished. Now you can run M.U.G.E.N. on your phone with ease. You can also use a bluetooth controller or a plugged in controller with the app and for M.U.G.E.N. https://i.imgur.com/cqTu6ef.mp4 It will take some getting used to, and if you don't have a controller, you can use swiping left or right functions to access the in-app menu for setting up a virtual controller as well. Overall, it isn't for everyone, not every phone will be able to run it smoothly, but I was able to get an old Samsung Galaxy one to run it fairly well. It only lags out when running really high intense stuff, like 4v4 patch or characters that constantly flood the screen. ARANX, CoolAnimeHustler and KorosKoros 1 2
