Capcom vs SNK HD Black Edition for IKEMEN GO (HD 1280 x 720) (0.99) (Updated 05/03/2024)

This may work in MUGEN 1.1, I haven't tested it, but it's designed for IKEMEN's full suite of features.
This was designed for v0.99 of IKEMEN Go specifically. Depending on changes to the engine, various features may not work as intended in other versions of IKEMEN. Your mileage may vary.

This is an edit/port of the Capcom vs SNK HD: Black Edition screenpack by President Devon.

 

It has been edited to port to IKEMEN and support IKEMEN's additional features. It also has a changed logo and removed references to Capcom vs SNK, as I wanted a more generic name that can be used to make anything and not be boxed into Capcom vs SNK projects. The original name and logo has been restored, with an alternate sff included if you want to use the Infinite Legacy name and logo instead. 

 

The lifebars are the Z-S Lifebar by ZIRU-STYLE. They were modified to incorporate IKEMEN's featureset in xcheatdeath's SVCSomething screenpack. They have been further modified by me to fit a widescreen game, add support for the Ratio system, and some small personal aesthetic and audio touches.

 

There are 4 select screen slot varieties. 120 slots, 204 slots (default), 492 slots, or 840 slots.

This is a 1280x720 screenpack. 
Please set your resolution to 1280x720 or higher, at a 16:9 resolution for the graphics to be positioned properly.

 

Installation
Place the inf folder inside your IKEMEN's data folder. 
Edit the save/config.json file, and set "Motif" to "data/cvsbe/system.def" and save.

(If you do not have a save/config.json file, launch IKEMEN once and it should generate one for you.)

If you want the Infinite Legacy logo instead, rename inf.sff to system.sff and put it in the cvsbe folder. 

 

Updated to v1.0.1 - Fixes some mistakes with the messages in the screenpack and some alignment issues. Now includes a 492 slot def for those who want more than the default 120 slots. 

Updated to 1.0.2 - 120 slot def in 1.0.1 was broken, that's corrected now. Added "wide" roster options, bumping up the names so to make room for more slots. Now includes 204 and 840 slot wide roster defs.

Updated for IKEMEN 0.98.2
If you're still using 0.98.1, please use version 1.0.2. This is available on AK1. 
Includes modules for Boss Rush (now external in IKEMEN 0.98.2) and VS 100 Kumite modes
Wide slot system.def files in 1.0.2 had an incorrect placement for P2's starting slot, this has been corrected.
Red health now displays properly in Tag Mode. 

1.0.4

Updated to use Devon's Capcom vs SNK HD Black Edition title and logo by default. Includes an alternate sff file if you want to use Infinite Legacy instead. 

1.0.5

Updated for use in IKEMEN Go 0.99. No new features. If you're still using IKEMEN Go 0.98.2, use v1.0.4 instead (found on AK1).

1.0.6

For whatever reason, the SFF file was not loading correctly in 1.0.5 or 1.0.4 and someone only reported it 8 months later. I've fixed that, as well as the FIGHT announcer playing early. Should work correctly in 0.99 RC3.

1.0.7

I somehow forgot to update the slots def options to 0.99? So they were broken if you tried to use them. (Particularly with team menus.) This has been fixed now.

Sorry for the late response. Are you using the latest version of this screenpack (1.0.6?) Versions before 1.0.5 were made for 0.98, and this is what happens when you try to use them on 0.99. This is what v1.0.5 fixed.

I already found the error, I tried with another number of slots and I don't see a problem.

The problem lies in the 840 slots. I clarify, I am using version 1.0.6

Alright, it's 2 am for me right now but I'll look into it tomorrow. It sounds like I might have forgotten to make the correct adjustments on the 840 slot system.def file.

Its updated to fix this issue. All the slots def files were out of date. This is fixed in 1.0.7, but rather than download the whole thing you can just download this slots.zip

and replace the slots folder in data/cvsbe with this one.
