Have you found out how to rip straight from the PS2 or are you using the emulator? Been there, man. Vacations are lifesavers.

Talking about emulators, dunno if you saw it at my facebook, but my new toy is running emulators pretty good! take a look at PS2 and WII emu fps:

Yup, I saw it. You have no idea how much I envy you with my two-years-old notebook Well, it ran Crucis Fatal Fake nicely, but I haven't tried Wii and PS2 emus

the funny thing is: it have some slowdown on some winmugen stages (something wich doesn't happens at my old pc) and I can't play winmugen or mugen 1.10 at fullscreen...

Both my desktops can run both PS2 and Wii emulators almost without slowdowns and both Mugen at fullscreen, and they haven't been updated in a while. But those are desktops XP Can't have it all, I guess. Maybe the way mugen handle some data and coding aren't so efficient. Many big game company do coding and compress files for optimum performance and all, something that you won't have in mugen. But I might be saying bullshit, I'm just theorizing.

Desktops process things a bit differently, as to not overheat and the battery performance kinda....toys with performance. Making dekstops almost infinitely better

I don't use it with battery, only with the power cord (the battery sucks).
