Which resolution do profile pictures have to be?

Uh, yeah...

 

I mean the big, fancy ones people have when you go into their profiles. 

 

I don't really know where else to ask this, I can't figure it out.

your talking about the background 'cover photo' right?

 

All you have to do is go to your profile then go to the right upper corner of the blank background you should see some transparent options and one of them should say 'cover photo' once you click that you should be able to upload a picture for that background in your profile.

Thanks, but I know how to put in the pictures, I just need to know what res they have to be.

Oh... I think the resolution can be about 500x200 or 600X200

...usually when you upload the picture it stretches out to fit that background in you profile.

I normally just upload any size of picture and let the forum adjust it.
