Here's that Glitzville "leak" I mentioned. It looks so good but it's so fake at the same time, you realize that they'd have to have 2D models of every character and item in the game, this would take Nintendo months to complete. They need to have the Excess Express as a stage.

Yes I see. but I admit that is pretty good Paper-style art that can be a great idea of a SSB paper Mario-style.

Well, technically, Nintendo and Konami are still working together a bit.
The Wii U still gets Konami games on the Virtual Console, and it has been revealed that Nintendo has recently worked with Konami over some IPs licensing, mainly Momotaro Densetsu.

So yeah, Konami characters as DLC is not 100% impossible anymore, just highly unlikely... :-\

Yeah, it was the most convincing of them all, even if it was because of leftover files of an actual Dr. Mario stage om the Wii U version (the Viruses have unused variations of their used render that were supossed to be used for Smash Tour Boss Battles).
