So apparently we're getting a new Doom game which'll be the manliest shit ever.  Don't worry, it's not going to be like Doom 3 where everything is pitch black with a focus on horror and jumpscares.  Instead, it'll be sticking to it's roots and have emphasis on fun more than anything.  Supposedly it'll have things like double jumping and even fatalities for hand-to-hand combat like Brutal Doom.  There's no screenshots or videos though, since id Software wants it to be secret for now.

 

So, what are your thoughts on this?  Are you hyped like I am?  Did you grow up playing Doom?  Will you play this?  And how much do you wanna bet that Screw Attack will realize that Doomguy would rape Chief by the time this is released?
