I have some doubts about this "motif" thing. I understand that it is some kind of "screenpack", I'm sorry if im not explaining myself. It's some kind of file that you can use or not, because it's just another way to see and feel M.U.G.E.N. Still I'm not sure if I should use this or not, because I was planning on doing a screenpack or something like that. In a way, the question is "Should I use the motif?".

The motif is the screenpack.

 

Mugen by default comes with a motif (technically more than 1).

You can use the one mugen comes with if you like, or you can download other motifs/screenpacks to change the look and number of character slots.

 

You dont HAVE to do this, it's your choice.
