Brucelee41126 Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Yep, a great asset to the video game world has passed on today due to "complications of pneumonia", as the company states. http://www.foxbusiness.com/business-leaders/2013/09/19/hiroshi-yamauchi-video-game-pioneer-dead-at-85/ Let's hope Nintendo continues striving towards greatness even after this loss Pretty silly in some cases, isn't it?

Toshio Tenma Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Pretty bad Who would be the new president, I wonder And just wondering, Because Wii U is somewhat weak and the 3DS is a monster, Are Nintendo losing or profiting? He had left the President post in 2002 and Satoru Iwata is the new President. RIP Mr. Yamauchi.
Sweetfire13 Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 I always found it funny how a person who never played a video game in his life expanded and monopolized on games to an extreme level. Truly a god among businessmen.
Kanbei Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 R.I.P. Hiroshi Yamauchi. You rolled out the Game&Watch which was one of the best classic portables ever. We will never forget you.
Zaibatsu Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 R.I.P. Yamauchi. You created one the of the greatest and most obscure handelds of all time, the Game and Watch. You will always stay in the hearts of many Nintendo fans and me being one of them. I loved Parachute it was one of my favorite Game and Watch games.
