Yep, a great asset to the video game world has passed on today due to "complications of pneumonia", as the company states.

I always found it funny how a person who never played a video game in his life expanded and monopolized on games to an extreme level. Truly a god among businessmen.

R.I.P. Hiroshi Yamauchi. You rolled out the Game&Watch which was one of the best classic portables ever. We will never forget you.

R.I.P. Yamauchi. You created one the of the greatest and most obscure handelds of all time, the Game and Watch. You will always stay in the hearts of many Nintendo fans and me being one of them. I loved Parachute it was one of my favorite Game and Watch games.
