Shinku WIP (From Rozen Maiden Battle Royal)

I think its about time for me to quit being on the side-lines and start showing my work and what I have studied so far on mugen. This is My first mugen Character and my Fav from the anime Rozen Maiden series.

So far I have done her basics and some specials from source game "Rozen Maiden Battle Royal"

Here are some basics I already done for her:

You might notice some of her sprites are a little messy but I am cleaning them as I go.

I was able to rip the sprites with this program:  "2dk2nd_sprite_ripper"

You can use it on some doujin games like "Vanguard Princess" to get the sprites/sounds of characters and stages

 

Cute one. If you plan to make the others dolls this can be the beginning for a new collection !

I might consider doing that personally since its only 8 characters from the game. (one is a punching bag)

but first I want to see how good Shinku turns out when I finish her.

Yes of course. Those are the main basics I have to put towards Shinku in her animations. =)

 

the sounds will be based off the doujin game she came from plus using some sounds from the old Shinku character made by Dorwin (Which I will give credit to when I finish her)

soo far the way she is going to play will be like Ryu and Terry bogard but with different style.

As you can see from the vid I need to find a better portrait for her and give Shinku some sparks when she hits her opponite and maybe give her a Parry motion. ( I know the next time I do a vid hopefully it be a good match. Toshio's Comet really pounded her) but it was a test play how the CPU use her. I still got ways to go. =P

I will do another video of Shinku while playing her in mugen to showcase what she dose. and at that time i will release her to get some feedback. so i can improve her while finishing her supers.

Well, you made a couple of characters that pretty well to study coding plus I read some of yours, the other MFFA staff , and creators Topics on mugen "Tutorials"  to understand the basics, which I don't have to ask about learning around this Forum.

 

(Also you learned me how to be cool in the chat room )
