[Wii U] Predictions for Newcomers in Super Smash Bros. Universe

What characters do you think will appear in Super Smash Bros. Universe? List what characters and why you think they will appear.

 

My List:

 

Zoroark: Basically the next Mewtwo/Lucario.

 

Megaman: The possibility of a Capcom character was mentioned, and he is one of the most popular Capcom characters. Could be seen as Samus's rival. As GarchompMatt mentioned, a lot of his games were on early Nintendo consoles.

 

Ryu: Another Capcom character possibility. He comes from a fighting game and is also very popular.

 

Takamaru: A game based off his franchise appeared in the Wii U title, Nintendo Land. Being a Japan-only character, an appearance in the next Super Smash Bros. could signify an international release game, like with Marth and Roy in Melee. (Marth and Roy's popularity in Melee got Fire Emblem released internationally.) Also, like Pit, R.O.B., and the Ice Climbers, he is a classic Nintendo character.

 

Cloud Strife: Square Enix has helped Nintendo with various games, most notably Super Mario RPG. He could be seen as Link's rival. He is arguably one of the most popular characters from RPGs.

The majority of the cast for Brawl would suffice for the most part (Minus Wolf and Toon Link); though if there were any newcomers, I would expect to see: Klonoa as the Namco guest character, Megaman Volnutt for the Capcom guest character and Zoroark as a new Pkmn character.
