  1. Nice take, but absolutely not.  First off, there is absolutely no reason he shouldn't be scaled 1:1.  Unlike CPS, NeoGeo outputs 4:3 320x240.  Sprites do not need aspect correction.

     

    And secondly, you're just plain wrong.  Here's CVS sprites compared to AOF sprites at my scaling (localcoord = 432,324 / .74 x .74)

    Is it just because he's a little taller than Ryu and Ryo? Because if that's the problem, I personally don't see anything wrong with that. Everyone doesn't have to be the exact same height ya know. But it's your opinion. I'm just saying. It doesn't effect his game play at all...

  2. I dont know if this is your 1st try converting sprites @Skeletor but went pretty well.

    When he punches has this feel that he could do a MK style Brutality anytime i mean almost is a massacre lol nice

    Thanks a lot! It actually is my first time converting sprites!  I frankensprite runs, and attacks all the time for both Infinite and R@ce, but I figured I'd have to learn to convert at some point. Because Dampier (Think I spelled that wrong)  is not always available. I've wanted a Mickey in a newer style for years! lol And this is the second character I"ve done voice overs for as well. Glad you like him!

  3. its fine I just didn't want a giant argument to start out. Also no offense to skeletor but is the classic voice going to become an option I checked the config and didn't see a voice option. I want his original voice if at all possible as a choice?

    Wow man! Sorry but we axed his original voice overs because they were so limited and old sounding. Sorry man...

  4. i once saw a screenshot of a select screen only showing 16 slots. but now i can't find it again. i wish i knew what number they had in mind, then i could give more feedback on who i'd like there. however, that tourney thing they are doing only have 16 listed, which apparently won't have GL hal due to gameplay shown for 16 chars.

    I think there's more than 16. I haven't actually counted tho. That Green Arrow vs Hawk girl was a pretty sick fight! Superman vs Sinestro was tight too!

  5. After trying his characters, I can tell that the people who made Alien Challenge had an awful sense of creativity. Many of the characters are given multiple moves for a single task, which is not a good thing. The creators had the idea that more moves = better, even if multiple moves do the same thing. I notice some characters also have moves that are pulled off too similarly. Like with Jean Paul, if you hold the back key, then do forward punch, you do a rushing punch attack. But if you quickly press back and forward several times before pressing punch, he throws a star instead. When trying to pull off the star shoot, you might end up using the rushing punch attack instead.

    As for ^o^'s characters themselves, they are way overpowered.

    Allow me to correct you sir... The star throw is F,B,F+P Rapid punch is B,F+P... Not the same... Yes these AC characters do have moves that cover the same purpose, but they play pretty solidly. This old man is pretty dangerous, but I'm gonna edit the shit out of him personally... I HATE these sounds!
