That's the weirdest thing....the only time i ever had that happen was when i didn't open the .sff with the .air file.

I don't know much about coding either but I'll give you this advice. It is all about patience. Making characters can be a tedious task, but in the long run when done right it can be worth it in the end.

I have had a problem like this while using Mugen 1.1, 1.1 handles palettes differently. Try using it in 1.0 or updating the character. There is a topic on the forum that could help you if you want to update that character:
