  5. Alright I just changed the 3rd choice to "I prefer MUGEN characters with any genders". >> ...more interesting to see a badass female than a male.... I agree. Especially the female character is a sub-boss/boss, such as The Rumble Fish 2 Beatrice and Arcana Heart 3 Scharlachrot and Super Street Fighter IV Juri Han and The King of Fighters 2000 Kula. And, how about these FTG gender setting differences? - males tend to have moves with more animation start-up & active frames, as well as longer recovery frames, while females tend to have fewer (i.e. the same close standing punch) - males fighters tend to deal more damage than females do (i.e. the same crouching trip kick) - males fighters tend to make P2 pause longer when P2 is hit/guarding - males fighters tend to have life value more than females' - males fighters tend to build their power meter faster - females fighters tend to move more agile than males - females fighters tend to have more multiple-hit moves than males do - females fighters tend to have more defense value as their attack value is lower - females fighters' get-hit collision boxes tend to be small than those of males, making females a smaller attack target So, in terms of game play, there are still some technical differences for the players' preferences. Just my small opinion.......

OK, let's do it straight-forward: - every time you see some lines that contains " command = "blah" ", just delete the whole lines - without those " command = "blah" " lines, the only being that can control the MUGEN character is the CPU A.I. And, things like " triggerall = command != holddown " (in your previous post you took out the double-quotation marks) can only make your MUGEN crash.

  10. The true non-SF-empty-slot(s) is(are) reserved for the 6th/7th/8th/9th/... character(s) when they announce Ultimate SFIV, Marvelous SFIV, Extra SFIV, Reborn SFIV, The Lost SFIV, Wholly Molly SFIV....etc. I personally am fine with Decapre.
  11. Perhaps my explanation was misleading. Commenting out a line in MUGEN code is to put a ";" before any line so, triggerall = command = "y" triggerall = command != "holddown" commenting these two (2) human-usable command code will look like this: ;triggerall = command = "y" ;triggerall = command != "holddown" this way a human play can never execute the button "y" and hold down command anymore and, before using the triggeall = AILevel != 0 line, you have to make sure you are using MUGEN1.0, or it will crash for sure. last, the triggerall = var(40) = 0 line..........it suggests a condition requirement where the MUGEN variable #40 must be equal to 0 you need to investigate how was this var(40) used. It could be anything - P2 is down, game time is less than 50, no helpers/strikers, a certain amount of hits made, some distance between players, P2's name not equal to "KFM"........etc........
  12. Oh just found out in the first place there are only a few characters to choose from. The player has to enter code to unlock other characters. I found the code at their twitter: "Code for unlocking EVERYTHING is: Press F4 in the main menu and enter IWANTITALL"

Facing opponents like her.......Shadow Master's evil plan can hardly be achieved in the MUGEN world.........nice match that you recorded by the way I did it by putting P2 into a custom dizzy state when P2 has gotten enough hits from Shadow Master, and then used an Explod state controller for the dizzy stars when P2 is in the custom state.
  17. @Winmugen11: I admit some of my topics are silly and useless, but somehow I want to know some MFFA statistics like this "gender preference" one. I don't know when was the time I began to be curious about even some small/unrelevant things like this in MFFA members' mind. @BaganSmashBros: From your MUGEN works I can imagine you would have chosen the genderless choice. But! Samus is a female! Beating up big bad monsters in MUGEN is undeniably more rewarding! I know my "gender preference" is quite biased, even to the point of sex discrimination. I am very old-school and still believe in some fighting game setting like this one: Call me an old cake :p

  21. Your MUGEN characters gender preference? Just curious........... My MUGEN characters gender preference is: - male (female bosses is an exception) because in my own opinion male characters are more dominating because of their bigger muscle strength and power, as well as the male motions, to me, look more stylish (feel free to criticize my viewpoint) "Fight like a man!" "Fight with manly might!" Females are pretty and cute. I think it might be the reason that there are so many MUGEN creators/authors doing all-female MUGEN stuff and many MUGEN players collecting and showing-off all-female MUGEN stuff only (well, I think it is safe to say that 90% of all MUGEN creators/authors/players are manly men )

Oh I don't quite remember how........I think I edited Zeus' intro state [statedef 191]: - removed the "combo system" Helper calling - gave the stance Animation Action 0 to his [statedef 191] - something more which I might have forgotten right now You may want to use WinMerge to open Zeus' original zeus.cns and my zeus_fixed_for_Sham_Winchester.cns to compare to see the differences. P.S. WinMerge is a very useful text files comparison freeware in my opinion
  24. I think one of the common ways to achieve this is, to modify a MUGEN character's CMD file. Take MUGEN1.0 KFM as an example, in his CMD file: ;Smash Kung Fu Upper (uses one super bar) [state -1, Smash Kung Fu Upper] type = ChangeState value = 3050 triggeall = AILevel != 0 ; add this line to make this super move available when A.I. is in use ;triggerall = command = "SmashKFUpper" ; comment out this line (using the ";" key) or remove the line to make this super move available to the A.I. only triggerall = power >= 1000 triggerall = statetype != A trigger1 = ctrl trigger1 = random <= 30 ; add this line to tell the A.I. to perform this super move with a 30/999 probability, whenever it has control or use a VarRandom state controller to make the random action happen more subtly and precisely trigger2 = hitdefattr = SC, NA, SA, HA trigger2 = stateno != [3050,3100) trigger2 = movecontact trigger3 = stateno = 1310 || stateno = 1330 ;From blocking For the old winmugen MUGEN characters, the triggeall = AILevel != 0 might be replaced by triggeall = var(59) != 0 as var(59) is a commonly used MUGEN variable in the old winmugen A.I. activation, yet it highly depends on the MUGEN creator's/author's habit......... Of course there are some other ways.............yet I think the above way is the most convenient one I could think of.......
