How do I change or add a custom select box? I can't figure out where the sprite for the "menu.boxcursor" is. can't even change it's size really. 2. How do I add custom sprites for each option? like when your boxCursor is on the arcade it shows that kung-fu man graphic (pictured above) and when you move the cursor to vs mode it shows something else. I can imagine some really torturous way to do it with custom fonts... but isn't there a more legitimate, easier method? 3. Is there a way to have multiple pages in the select screen or scrolling or... whatever that lets me put bigger icons in those larger rosters? ...and can you apply shaders on screenpack sprites like make it darker that way ,instead of adding an extra sprite?

first ever sprite I've drawn.(second draft) Just wanted some opinion and pointers. Been really excited about it. I tried to do it in the MvC style. I don't think it looks like it though... This image alone took two mornings, noons AND afternoons. I have no idea how people make animations at this point. IDK if I want to continue it to the animation phase honestly. I mean I want to. But I don't think I can. Anyways what do you think? btw if you want this, yours. I'd be more than happy if someone had any use out of this.
