  1. That's probably my fault. My sincerest apologies. Please continue your Japanese thread. :)
  2. Thank you! :) What's the username you're using. I can activate it right now. It's a possibility that the email might have gotten lost or there was some mixup with the new site being built. Anything could happen, but I'm trying to keep the two separate. My building of the new site, shouldn't affect the old one at all.
  3. Exactly. Well I studied Japanese for some time, but forgot a good portion of it. If I wanted to speak with BlazeEdge21 or anyone else, chances are they don't know Japanese and they're pretty much forced to use a translator... or ask a friend or something. Another example is with a majority of the Hispanic members on my site. They want to post their comments in English, but have no way of doing so without a translator. So, can it really all be that bad of a thing. Communication is an excellent thing and we should never lose sight of that fact.
  4. Sadly, it is. What I meant is that some people can only talk to other's in a different language by using "crappy translators." Sometimes I am in this situation and I'm sure others are too. My point is that there's no need to make fun of them. That's not directed at anyone. Just a general statement.
  5. *Cringes* Don't forget: That concept applies in any language. Dare I I start posting the horribly translated English sentences spattered across my site? LOL.
  6. You don't have to be Japanese to speak it fluently.
  7. Ah, that was fun. Enough of being an asshole. Yep, that was me! すみません、 日本語が大好きですよ!:) I wish I knew more though. My studies are currently going in Russian at this time.
  8. Yep, guys don't expect the conventional character with this one. He's a completely different idea than what you're used to. Break from the norm people! LOL.
  9. [Preview] [Download] http://mugencoder.com/author.php?id=1 [Comments] Readme: Update 2: - Aerial A and B no longer knock down a standing oponnent - Made the grab startup a bit shorter and moved his quote to the "success state" Grappble now stuns the and cripples the enemy. They can be more easily comboed this way after a successful grab. Grapple startup can be canceled into attacks. Rio is now invincible during the entirey of his success state. - Added directional influence to his rolls. Hold the direction you want roll to and press "x." - Removed Fall Recovery on all but light attacks - Changed the velocities on Automatic Supers so that they are a bit more successful. Update: - Changed Grab Mechanic. If the grab was successful, the player is invincible during it. Also lowered the startup time on success. The attempt still leaves you vulnerable. Holding back while grabbing will allow you to turn the enemy around. Increased damage from 40 to 70. - Changed Hop Backwards mechanic. Added 3 invincibilty frames at the start of the hop. Player now gains control and can attack once in the air from the hop. - Move his Roll commands to "x" and added Crouch/Aerial Light Slash to "a" Increased the roll distance on the ground. - Remapped Phat Beat to QC(F or B) + (A, B, or C) - Increased the command buffer time to 5 to allow for easier combo'ing. - Update Readme - Added some victory quotes. - M.U.G.E.N 1.0 - Scalable A.I. - Glowing Electric Daggers :) - Sparks, Lightning, and Electricity of all kinds. Увидимся!
  10. Yep, I'm making a Konan. No need to cancel your project Urstruly :)
  11. Eh, that doesn't really phase me. There are shit-ton of Naruto's too, yet I still made one :P
  12. The way I see it, if the sprites suggest a cool character, then I'm probably subject to make them. Don't quote me on that though.
  13. Hmm, I might have to after all lol. We'll see. I like Hitsugaya and Renji so it's a possibility, even if I don't know anything about them either. :P
  14. No problem. It was Ryon's suggestion. I liked and went along with it :P
  15. [Preview] [Download] http://mugencoder.com/author.php?id=1 [Comment] <ISHIDA'S README> Name: Uryu Ishida Version Date: 5/8/2012 M.U.G.E.N Version: 1.0 Author: Alexei Roschak (kenshinx0) Series: Bleach Game: Beach: Dark Souls for NDS Description: Uryu is a bow-wielding master of long ranged attacks. He fires series of light arrows at the enemy that keep them at bay at constantly taking damage. Credit: SXVector for helping out with some trignometry failure I was having late at night :P Ryon and Ultraboard101 for beta testing. <COMMANDS> Basic Commands: Walk - Yes Run - Yes Jump - Yes Crouch - Yes Hop Backwards - Yes System: Uryu's command system is pretty basic. A consists of melee combo starters, B of mid-level arrow attacks, and C of High-level arrow attacks called 'tracker arrows.' Pressing Up after an arrow hit or move hit will teleport him up to the enemy super fast to be comboed. Special Attacks: (Command names were completely made due to lack of something better to call them ;) ) [Name] - [Command] - [Power Requirement] Description Notes (If any) Arrow Barrage - QCF+a - 1000 Description: Uryu fires many arrows that scatter in different directions and change their paths randomly. Notes: There is an aerial version of this move as well. The difference is that the instead of random paths, the arrows have linear paths that are aimed downwards at 45 degree angle. Sky Arrows - QCB+a - 1000 Description: Uryu stands back and points his bow into the air, firing multiple arrows straight into the air. The arrows fall after some time onto the enemy. Notes: The arrows can be dodged, but only if you're quick enough. The arrows do not track the enemy, but do fall at the initial position of the enemy. If they move, the arrows can miss. It'll all makes sense once you see the move. Hirenkyaku (Tracking) Arrows - QCF+b - 2000 Description: Uryu fires 3 arrows at the enemy, teleports (using his Hirenkyaku technique) behind the enemy and fire three more into their back, sending them to the ground. Notes: This move can miss depending on the initial position of the move. Plan the use of this move wisely. Slow Time Arrows - QCB+b - 2000 Description: Uryu lunges at the enemy with his hand out in an attempt to grab them. If he's successful, he'll stop time and use his Hirenkyaku technique to teleport all around the enemy, placing 4 arrows around them. He then, resumes time and the arrows fly at the enemy with high speed. (Tracking arrows) Notes: Some of the arrows can miss depedning on where you hit them at the time of the grapple. Use this information to plan out a good distance to use the move in. I have no idea if Uryu can stop time or not, so this move was just something I made up. Ultimate Arrow Beam - QCF+c - 3000 Desciprtion: Uryu goes into his final form, growing a wing of energy from his back, then fires a single arrow that quickly morphs into a massive beam. Notes: The beam has a wide range and can also be used in the air. <CONCLUSION> I made Uryu because I wanted to make something that wasn't a Naruto character; just something to change things up. Uryu was fun and challenging to make and I hope you all enjoy him. As always, his AI is by me and quite challenging.
  16. [Preview] [Download] http://mugencoder.com/characters.php?id=1 [Comment] Readme: ;--------------------------------------------------; ;----------------- HIBITO'S README ----------------; ;--------------------------------------------------; Name: Hibito Series: Draglade Description: Hibito is a fire weilding character from the NDS title: Draglade. I had no sounds or anything to work with, but a limited amount of sprites. The voice is the voice of Wangtang from Power Stone for the Dreamcast/Arcade. It seemed to fit best in my opinion. Credits: Ryon for providing Hibito's voice (Wangtang) Ultraboard101 for providing some alpha-version feedback that proved to be most useful. ;--------------------------------------------------; ;-------------------- COMMANDS --------------------; ;--------------------------------------------------; Basic Movements: Walk: Yes Run: Yes (Dash) Jump: Yes (Once) Crouch: Yes Combination Keys: A and B are for Slash combos. Unique Combos can be created by pressing these two in different orders Combine A and B with the Crouching attacks of A and B: Down+A is a Stab trip that can be followed up with a jump stab finisher. Down+B acts as a launcher that can be comboed into and out of. C is the multipurpose magic button: Hold C to charge up your varius types of blasts. Simply pressing C will fire a very small and weak fireball. Holding for 1 iteration of charging and letting go will fire a medium fireball. Holding for 2 iterations of charging and letting go will fire a larger, heavy fireball that knocks the enemy down. Holding for 3 iterations or any longer than that will activate his super fireball projectile. - The super requires no power to do, but will drain all that you have available. The even tradeoff and fairness is that you - must charge the move up for a good 3-4 seconds before even getting that far. Pressing C in the middle of a ground combo will activate a one bar super. You need one bar of power (1000) to do this. The super involves fire bursting from the ground. The fire burns and leaves the enemy open to another combo. Pressing C in the middle of an arial combo will activate his other one bar super. You need one bar of power (1000) to do this. The super involves freezing time and slashing with a huge fire sword. The burning damage fluctuates. It really depends on where the enemy is in correlation to the your current position in the air. ;--------------------------------------------------; ;------------------- CONCLUSION -------------------; ;--------------------------------------------------; Hibito was just one of those random things I saw and said "Hey, he reminds of Roy from SSBM. I'm gonna make him!" Yeeeeeah, that random. Anyways, here he is and enjoy. I try to get better and improve with each new character. I hope I met that goal with Hibito. Thanks and Enjoy.
  17. Deathnintendo, the site's back up in case you were wondering. Sorry for the extended maintenance mode.
  18. That looks a lot better than what Mikogo was showing me. Nice job. Glad my crazy looking sprites worked out for this move.
  19. Thanks http://mugenfreeforall.com/public/style_emoticons//smile.png
  20. [Preview] [Download] http://mugencoder.com [Comment] Hey Guys, It's been two weeks. I've been sick and feeling like absolute shit, but finally managed to get these lifebars into production. Readme:
  21. I'm keeping an eye on things. Not to worry Tohno. LOL
  22. The source sprites are actually different. They are two different stages in game believe it or not. So that's kind what happened after making the highlights more defined in the darker stage. My idea was to get the moonlit surfaces more defined than what the source sprites suggested to be correct. P.S. LMFAO at your Avatar. Gee, I wonder why after 25? Maybe because they are no longer teens. The general public's knowledge at it's finest. ...
  23. [Preview] [Download] http://mugencoder.com [Comment] Hey Guys, This is the Rocks stage from NZC. Both the Night and Day versions are included. Each has different music to fit the mood of the stage and each has appropriate elements to illuminate the stage. Everything is separated from the single, source image to give the stage more depth.
  24. [Preview] [Download] http://mugencoder.com/authors/details/37 [Comment] Update: As I go through my stages and start implementing full-game features into them, I'm fixing what's wrong with them and making them look better. The first subject is Suigetsu's Stage. Enjoy the new look. :) Here's what's changed: [-] Reduced the scale of the stage to 1,1 from 1.5,1.145 [-] Color corrected the entire to stage to give it more contrast and depth. [+] Added a dark, murky tint over the stage. [o] Re-created a better looking fog effect. [o] Adjusted the bounds and cleaned up extraneous comments in the code. [o] Removed timed shatter from the BGM and the stage itself. [o] Adjusted the deltas. Hey Guys, Here's my take on Suigetsu's Stage. It's got timed breaking for the tubes on either sides of the stage that are also synced up with the sounds that are embedded in to the stage's music.
