The time has come for another stage release from Scepter and I! This one's based on the fantastic reboot of a Sunsoft classic, Blaster Master Zero. The stage includes a nod to the original Blaster Master's intro and cycles through areas from the second game in the Zero Trilogy. Mushroom Kingdom Training Course (Updated 09/10/23)
ShiroTori replied to ShiroTori's topic in [ RELEASES ]
It's been longer than I had hoped, but I've updated the stage! - Stage now includes separate def files for each time of day - Changed the music file to ogg - Lowered the characters position on screen - Added a transparent effect to the mushroom - Removed shadows Also, after getting some help from PotS regarding animated assets with parallax, I've been trying out adding parallax to Scepter and I's older stages. -
Sorry about that, looks like the updated sff wasn't added to the new file. Should be fixed now!
-
Thank you for letting me know MistPrism! Stage has been updated. Increased the leftbound and rightbound and fixed the visual error with Chack'n. Also added the video preview.

With today being Taito's 70th Anniversary, Scepter and I bring you our latest stage. A celebration of all things Taito! The stage comes in two versions, one with the breaking news intro and HUD and one without them. In-game screenshots: Download: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lqxYWBNPd81B8UX4iumA31JjK4tuPQJs/view?usp=drive_link Also, I apologize for the lack of an update to the Mushroom Kingdom as of now. I hope to have that come out sometime soon! And, as always, we hope you enjoy!

I've updated the stage addressing some feedback from MFG. I've fixed the cut off, added tensions to the zoom, and included an alt def that removes the scoreboard and constant "insert coin" text.

Duke it out on the training course from the Super Mario Bros. movie in Scepter and I's latest stage! The stage cycles through three different backgrounds, imitating a montage like in the film, and comes with an 8-bit rendition of Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out for a Hero". The worlds of Pizza Tower and Tower of Heaven collide in Scepter and I's latest stage! The stage is meant to mimic the demo of an arcade machine, with a scoreboard appearing throughout the fight. The version for 1.0 has a few differences from the 1.1 version, due to some limitations with 1.0. Frigate Orpheon (Metroid Prime) (Updated 4/17/23)
ShiroTori replied to ShiroTori's topic in [ RELEASES ]
Quick update: There is now a third def file for a version without any Samus or HUD elements, for anyone who prefers a less busy screen and/or wants to use Samus here without seeing double. ^^ -
With the release of Metroid Prime Remastered, Scepter got the idea to do a stage based on the Parasite Queen boss fight. The stage comes in three versions: One from Samus' perspective, one where she's in Morph Ball form, and a plain version without Samus or HUD elements. Make sure to use the 1.0 version if you're using IKEMEN, as the zoom there doesn't work right with the visor/HUD effects. Ikemen has since been updated and this is no longer an issue! Ouroboros has been updated. The intro was sped up to accommodate characters with shorter intros. I also updated the preview video, as the original was missing Cyber Field City. -

All links have been updated. I'm now using Google Drive due to Mediafire removing stuff due to copyright BS. -

After PotS left me some feedback on our latest stage, I found out it applied to almost all of Scepter and I's stages. I took this opportunity to go back and give all our stages a bit of a refresh. Most of these updates just address some minor things, but some stages got more significant ones. Downloads: Enjoy!

I went back and gave some of the stages Scepter and I worked on some needed updates. Ouroboros & Smiling Friends - Stages no longer reset in the second round (This was a big problem in Ouroboros thanks to the stage's intro) Infinity War Times Square - 1.0 version added - Music added (Theme of Thanos by WizzyWhipitWonderful) I hope you all enjoy!
-
Minor update, I mixed up the two def files in the original upload; 1.0 was in 1.1's folder and vice-versa. Fixed now.

Link updated again, because MEGA removed the file again. I've removed the music file because I'm pretty sure that's what's causing these takedowns. If you want the music for this stage, go find the track "Television Rules the Nation/Crescendolls" off of Daft Punk's Alive '07 album, be it from a copy of the album itself or just somewhere on the internet (YouTube to mp3 and all that good stuff).
