Left 4 Dead 2: Cold Stream now has a set release date.....again

Recommended Posts

Yes Valve faithful, at long last Cold Stream has a real release date. After over a year, and a few past release dates, the massive dlc pack is set for a July 24th release. In the pack is a new L4D2 campaign Cold Stream, the first user made campaign to be ported to the 360 as an official release. Created by the creator of Two Evil Eyes, it was the first experiment to port a user made campaign to the 360. In addition to the new campaign, there will be ports of Crash Course, Death Toll, Dead Air and Blood Harvest. Here's the official Blog post confirming this: http://www.l4d.com/blog/ Hopefully this time, we will finally get our hands on all the L4D1 campaigns for L4D2 and the new user campaign.

Update: Cold Stream is now out on the PC and finally after being delayed over a week and (with almost an entire day of screwed up servers and false starts) on the Xbox 360 for 560 points for the 5 included maps, which in total add up to over a gig in memory, those with the Sacrifice DLC will now have all 5 original Left 4 Dead campaigns. Those with the Passing will now be able to pick and choose what Mutations they want to play in with the tap of a button. Happy Zombie hunting everyone.
