Specific characters dying to grabs, and I want to know how to fix it (if I could)

So, I've just downloaded Yu-Toharu's Miku, tried her out against Kung Fu Man, and she just dies instantly from a single grab, her HP doesn't go down either.

 

I'm not sure if its because of the specifications of using Winmugen characters in Mugen 1.0 (Miku is a Winmugen character last I checked, and I use Mugen 1.0), or something completely different, I'll highly appreciate it if you found a solution to this problem...

Were did you download it? Sometimes uploaders alter a file for no reason.

In a mediafire link directed from the Vocaloid collection, I downloaded the light version of Miku fyi (this also happens to normal Miku, I've tested her out myself earlier this morning).

 

I also didn't get any error messages when it happened, weird.
