Ronald World 1.0 RELEASE

After more than 9 months, it is finally my pleasure to present you the new version of Ronald World!

 

I really appreciate your patience for this great moment that... Who am I kidding, no one has been paying attention to this.

What's new? Many things. Here are the version changes:

-40 Filler chars have been eliminated, this is because most of them were only to fill out the roster or were absurd characters in a game that, in my opinion, is intended to be serious. (chars like chrome, peppa pig, the spinner, among others.)

-The duration of chapter 1 has been reduced from 20 encounters to only 10. (This is because the first episode itself was quite boring, long and tedious, with repetitive scenarios and filler chars that were just a bag without limbs) Besides, that big mistake on my part could cause the player to be scared by the horrible start of the game.

-Chapter 1 has also been recreated to give it a better essence of its rural atmosphere.

-6 New exclusive char edits and 2 secrets have been added!

-Chapter 4 has been added! This contains 4 encounters only with bosses that are exclusive edits of the game, having a total of 18 exclusive char edits in this version.

-A completely new soundtrack has been added that is adapted for each atmosphere of the chapter's settings.

-Minor things have been polished in some char edits, adding additional sounds and sprites.

-The difficulty of the story mode has been balanced in deduction for each chapter. (Compared to version 0.5 of the game, where some encounters had more difficult characters in easy chapters or vice versa.)

-Minor additions to hud and game sounds.

-The total number of matches is now "48"

-Removed "pinkamena" who causes a mysterious bug in version 0.5 that even I didn't understand. (Some shit related to the lack of sprites in the root char folder, but on my pc that file was clearly there. If anyone knows how to solve it, if you notice the same error in this new version, please tell me.)

-Added a "Game Over" cinematic.

-The game executable file icon has been changed.

-4 bonus scenarios exclusives have been added to the game that are not available in story mode. (Your access is only available in vs or training.)

-Some chars have been replaced so as not to be so short on the roster

Stay anonymous XD. I haven't found a way to narrate in the game yet, but I theorize that in the next version I should add cinematics where the lore of the game is told.
