Every time I tried to color index an image so that I can use it for a portrait for my character. But it ends up looking bad despite that not happening before in the last times that I have used GIMP.
Basically what I did was the basic steps of going on GIMP, putting the image into the software, doing the Image>Mode>Indexed steps, saving the image and then putting it into the character in Mugen Fighter Factory. But the results that I get is what is shown on the top link.
Am I doing anything wrong? I'm sure that I did the color indexing steps correctly and like I said before, this didn't happen the last time that I did this (granted the last time that I did this was a year or 2 ago.
