Music for stages crashes the game. Has anyone else had this problem?

So I'm using Mugen 1.1, and whenever I download a stage and put it in my mugen it works fine (without music in the sound folder). Then I download a song I want to use for that stage, put it in the sound folder, edit the stages def file, and then I check it in game and it just crashes. This happens with every stage I try putting music into, and I would really appreciate any help. .wav files are completely silent btw. Thank you !

Hey,

         I know this isn't much help, but I just wanted to let you know that you're not alone on that problem. I run M.U.G.E.N 1.0 and whenever I add my own music it does the same too. The app won't shut off either; forcing me to do an emergency shut down on my laptop. Idk I just thought It'd be better if you at least knew that others shared this same issue lol. I hope someone comments who DOES have advice!
