Spriting Help

I'm new to all this spriting thing, I've started doing it this week, but I can't seem to work it out. I plan on doing a full game, or at least some OCs, but all i've done so far is just this base :


So I'm here asking for advices, tips and everything y'all could help me with.

@AxSeeker Well, since i'm going to make an Original character, and I don't want to steal other people sprites, it would end almost the same way. Also, I'm still going to use Frankenspriting for some animation frames.

you could pick up some books on human anatomy that should help. Of course you could use existing sprites and edit them too.
