Editing Existing Characters Using Fighter Factory

Question

Posted

While I would like to be able to one day create my own characters from scratch, I figure it would be easier if I started by editing existing characters, specifically I want to edit Zelgadis' Mizore Shirayuki Lv. 2 (here's a link to it: http://www.mugenimperiolatino.com/index.php?topic=6194.0 ) by giving her the Special Moves and Hypers of Cirno and Pet Shop. Unfortunately, Google is not being helpful, as all the tutorials I search for online are for creating new characters, not editing existing ones. If someone could tell me what I needed to do or at least pointed me in the right direction, I would be most appreciative.

The basic that you need to know to edit characters is pretty much the same you need to know to create them. The difference is that most of the work is already done.

You can start by reading the docs, and messing with Kung Fu Man files, as it has annotations of what each state does.

Hi! Since my next step is also editing chars\stages, so I think I can give u some suggestions to begin with :P

There's already a complete tuto about creating character (it could help a lot, cuz if u understand well the basics, editing is just a game of imagination and time)

made by Ryon and he explains well)

Anyway it's just a suggestion ^^ it demands patience to learn but u can always try these links if you think they fit better(for minor edits):

Hope these infos help a bit ~
