Also,ALienqueen made a bunch of DBZ characters with awesome sprites but terrible gameplay so you might wanna look her stuff up

If you want hi-res characters, my best bets would be :

 

1) Balthazar's stuff (http://network.mugenguild.com/balthazar/)

 

2) The Dragonball Allstars characters here : Yamcha, Vegeta, Gohan, Perfect Cell & Goku

 

3) The HR Goku made by toskomics

 

4) The HR Frieza by Alien Queen

 

Please note that the HR Goku and Freeza are unfinished Beta's. They are however still worth a try at least.
